Our group of 7 had a great stay at Vina Robles! The house is spacious and pretty clean, and the kitchen is well-stocked with dishes and gadgets. It also has some staples like salt and pepper, sugar, etc.The rental company was very responsive and friendly, and made check-in and check-out very easy. The house has plenty of room for groups to gather inside and outside, and it;s a nice touch to have multiple outdoor sitting areas on different sides of the house in case you want to move with the sunshine.
The hosts left a bottle of red and a bottle of white wine for us -- nice gift to walk in to! You also get complimentary wine tasting at Vina Robles Winery -- just tell them you're renting the guest house.
My only "complaint", and it's minor, is that the 3 non-master bedrooms are pretty small. They are attached to the rest of the house by an awkwardly-placed office-like room which has a desk and a printer, and seems to be a waste of space. That said, we didn't spend much time int he bedrooms, so it's not a big deal.
Bathrooms were fully stocked with plenty of towels, and even some toiletries. I'd definitely consider staying there again if in Paso with a group.
Loved our stay here this weekend. Kathy & Becky made sure we were registered and got all the information quickly, also connected with the property owner and everyone was so pleasant to deal with and helpful at every stage. The house is well equipped and well maintained. This was our first AirBnB stay and I'll definitely use it again!
The house was very roomy and ideal for two couples. The kitchen was better than the pictures suggested, and was very well equipped with knives and other service ware. We would suggest arriving in daylight as the driveway is easy to miss.
We would definitely return, as it is close to many wineries, Paso Robles downtown, and Hearst Castle
We spent the long weekend in Paso with two other couples and we couldn't have chosen a more perfect place to stay! The house is perfectly located downtown, we loved using a key code instead of carrying around a house key, and the rooms were incredibly comfortable. We didn't have any trouble finding what we needed in the house and after a day of wine tours, it was nice just to relax in the living room. We all hope to come back some day.
This is a fabulous, fabulous place to stay! Very open, lots of light, incredible views and everything you need to entertain friends. It was quiet at night and not to far from down town Paso Robles. We will definitely be returning to enjoy it again.
Views & Tranquility Above Downtown is a beautiful home! It was perfect for a wine tasting weekend for 7 people. The living space is very open allowing us to all be in the same place while we cooked, BBQ'ed, and played games. And the kitchen had everything we needed. The location was perfect about a 1 mile walk to downtown. It is on top of a HUGE hill so provides beautiful views. It was also very easy working with Paso Robles Vacation Rentals. The only negative I have was the bed in the pull out couch was very uncomfortable.
I am not giving 5 stars because no one is perfect. But, this house is pretty close. Four adults shared the space without any problems. We had other friends over for brunch and they were jealous with our accommodations. It is located in between east and west side wineries and very close to downtown. Beds were really comfortable and there was nothing missing. Wish we could have stayed longer and used some of the outdoor spaces. Next time.
Absolutely stunning. The pictures are good but the reality is even better. Private, peaceful and quiet. Our family of six had plenty of room to spread out. And the kitchen is the best of any we've had -- we stayed in and cooked every night. Great wine, great food and great company. We will return again and again. Thank you Kathy and Becky for sharing this treasure with us!
Great house and plenty of room for 9 family members.
Hidden Hills was a terrific location for my group of 10 friends to celebrate the holidays. The house was gorgeous and quiet, with an extremely well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and a nice hot tub. I hope we can visit again during warmer weather to fully enjoy the wraparound porch and pool. The house is very well located, and the hosts were very communicative before our stay. Recommended!
