B&B “La Vite” (The grape-vine)
Room “Orcia” – Please check Pictures and Availability!

We are located in Pienza, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1996 in the heart of Tuscany.
Relax and stroll through Pienza’s small alleyways, marvel the city dating back to the Renaissance time and browse the picturesque shops and restaurants offering local produce.

“La Vite” Bed & Breakfast is located in the heart of the old town of Pienza within walking distance to the terrace overlooking the Orcia Valley, which is also a UNESCO world heritage site since 2004.
The building dates back to the 15th Century and has been renovated to provide guests with all the comfort, including a large living area, free Wi-Fi and a nearby parking area.

The B&B features 3 comfortable rooms and 1 Suite located away from each other and over 2 levels to guarantee the best privacy to our guests.
Each room is equipped with a bathroom with shower, hair dryer, independent heating system, TV, free Wi-Fi.

The B&B’s name comes from the centuries old grape-vine located by the building. For the same reason the rooms have been named with the quality wines of the area. The suite is called like the Roman wine gods.
• 1. Room “Brunello” (red wine from Montalcino): double room;
• 2. Suite “Bacco & Arianna” (Roman wine God & Goddess): double room, living area with sofa (which may be used as additional bed) and balcony over a local street. Suitable for families or groups up to 4 people;
• 3. Room “Chianti”(red wine from central Tuscany): double room;
• 4. Room “Orcia” (red wine from the valleys surrounding Pienza): double room.

Every morning Caterina, your local young host, will serve you a typical Italian breakfast including her delicious homemade cakes.

Pienza hosts events all year round. In the area are also well known natural spa resorts (Bagno Vignoni, Bagni San Filippo, Chianciano Terme), Etruscan archeological sites (Sarteano, Chiusi, Chianciano) and traditional medieval towns well worth visiting (San Quirico d’Orcia, Montalcino, Radicofani, Montepulciano e Siena).
Easy to visit the major cities of Tuscany and central Italy.

The Orcia Valley is ideal for bike tours. Bikes may be rented locally.
Local farms producing cheese, oil and wine are also open to visitors.

Visit the Reception desk for tourist information including bike tours, farm visits, archeological sites, museums, restaurants and taxi reservation.

Our booking had been changed unexpectedly, but Caterina made the change easy for us and put us in the most beautiful little cottage in a secret garden in Pienza with Ms. Rosella. It was like a dream, and Ms. Rosella was amazingly hospitable, kind and helpful. We were so sad to leave!! Thank you again for a magical stay that we will remember for our lifetime!

Being in Pienza feels like being on that perfectly scouted Tuscan dream location. And Giulio's place is right in the heart of it. The property is very well maintained, each room individually furnished and very charming in its setup. We arrived on a Tuesday, and really loved being right in the heart of it. The town gets really busy on the weekends, but still nothing compared to the main tourist areas in Tuscany. Here, one can still tune out and enjoy some vino and pecorino cheese under the Tuscan sun in a tranquil, quaint setting, then walk back to the room in about five minutes without the need for a taxi or the headache of having to find a parking spot.

Our stay at La Vite BnB was perfect. Catherine was a wonderful host, and the location could not have been better. Our room was spacious and clean, and fit in perfectly with the romantic vibe of Pienza. You must try their restaurant downstairs, Al Fierale, incredible steaks and service!

Highly recommended. Situated on a picturesque street. Pienza is tiny and there lots of amazing restaurants, incredible gelato and a few bars very close by. The rooms were comfortable and clean with great breakfasts each morning! All staff were friendly and very hospitable. Great base to explore the local area!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The location is so central and the place is so very quaint. You definitely can't go past Catarina's yummy breakfast which is all freshly baked. Definitely recommend staying here!

+ Great breakfast, friendly staff and good accommodation close to the city centre. Nice neighbourhood with scenic views and definitely good value for money. - Just one point: there was no air conditioning available (just fans). Normally I guess this would have been fine, but in the middle of the heatwave it was difficult to sleep. Besides the issue of the air conditioning, I would definitely recommend this B&B to other guests.

Response from Giulio:
Unfortunately, in the historical center of Pienza (UNESCO Heritage Site), it is forbidden to install air conditioners. It was a great heat and I did my best to minimize the inconvenience. I'm sorry I did not have a better rating for a fault than mine. Thanks and best regards.
