Interaction with Guests
I am in touch with the guest from their initial inquiry throughout their stay, and am available anytime if they need anything.
I love that it is within walking distance to several area restaurants, especially Emilio's Cafe. The beach is only a 20 minute walk and coming back it's uphill, so it's a great workout. Of course one can always take the bus back up the hill if too tired to walk.
The bus stop is within five minutes walking distance. Service is every 20 minutes and costs less than $1.
Taxis are always available and may be hailed on the street or dispatched to the house.
Other Things to Note

When available, a later check out, or earlier check in time can be arranged. I am happy to do so at no extra charge. Please ask ahead of time for availability.
No smoking in the house.
This was a great place to stay for my husband, daughter and myself. Rebecca was very helpful with anything we needed. She responded to emails with detailed information and the house is set on an amazing site. The front porch was our favorite place to stay and we were able to sit back and enjoy the animals and scenery which is what we were hoping for. The location was good and transportation to Quepos or the beaches in Manuel Antonio were inexpensive and easy.
The apartment had a loaded fruit bowl, a large jug of cold water, a beer and a full bag of coffee which is all we needed to get started and more then we expected.
I especially loved the sloth that hung out in the tree at the bottom of the walk for about 3 days. Thanks Rebecca we had a great time!
We had the most wonderful time staying at Casa Kaylen. We took the bus in from San Jose and managed to miss our stop, even with very detailed directions from Rebecca! We were so pleasantly surprised when we got off the bus and walked into a restaurant to call Rebecca and she said, "No problem, I will be there to get you in a minute." She showed up and then offered to stop by the grocery with us on the way back to the place…it made is feel so welcomed! She gave a thorough run-thru about the house and then left us with a well detailed binder of information and her recommendations on things. So helpful! We called her a few times throughout the week with random questions and she answered and quickly solved out problems within an hour (our internet stopped working at one point and someone was there to fix it right away)! The house is in great location to restaurants and walkable to all the wonderful beaches. We didn't know until we had been there how primo the location actually was…PERFECT! Rebecca gave us mangos and cantaloupe and had coffee for us already at the house. There was a mid-week clean and the gardner and housekeeper were friendly as ever. My husband and I are already telling people to go to Casa Kaylen and cannot speak highly enough about it. It is the perfect balance open-air with plenty of security. We give it an 11 out of 10 and hope that everyone has as an amazing trip as we did. Thanks Rebecca, we hope to see you soon!
The property was perfect for my stay in Manuel Antonio. The location is great with great restaurants very close by, and the beach an easy downhill. Rebecca was an amazing host. She greeted us at the property and gave us plenty of advise on places to eat and visit. She also brought delicious Costa Rican-style tamales. She is a great example of what the AirBnB experience is all about. When I return to the area, I will first check to see if this property is available!
Above expectations, great location and we enjoyed staying in the house. Rebecca was organized and everything worked smooth
This house is a really special find. Located across the street from the Hotel Mariposa (listed on the 1000 places to see before you die ) list it's an extraordinary location. Rebecca was very responsive and super helpful. The Mango Moon hotel located just one hundred steps away has a fun restaurant, bar, view and pool and the hotel managers are very friendly. It's a great place to hang out too. This house has a great kitchen and the bathroom is very spacious. The grounds around the house are immaculate and you have your own garden setting, view and can enjoy lots of wildlife.
Absolutely beautiful property. We felt very comfortable in every way. Rebecca was great about giving us info and making herself available when we had questions. My friend left her kindle behind and Rebecca even offered to drive it to us...over an hour away!!! Spectacular place with a wonderful host. We hit the jackpot.
I've lived in Manuel Antonio for 11 years and think it's a very unique place, especially if you love nature and wildlife. Every day brings a new surprise!
