The Space

The apartment is located on a gorgeous, safe, and quiet block and is steps from the 2,3,4,5,B,D,N,Q and R trains at Atlantic terminal and the A,C, and G at Hoyt-Shermerhorn. A quick train ride to Prospect Park (Brooklyn's answer to Central Park), Williamsburg, DUMBO, and countless other Brooklyn destinations, and fifteen minutes or less to downtown Manhattan and SoHo.

Besides its convenience, Boerum Hill boasts plenty of restaurants, cafes, boutiques and shopping centers. I fell in love with the neighborhood the first time I visited, and I think you will, too!

  • Comfortable and clean studio, first floor, great location: walking distance to Brooklyn Bridge Park and Brooklyn Heights. Easy walk to Atlantic Avenue shops and restaurants. Quiet neighborhood.

  • The location of the apartment is brilliant. Excellent transport links and heaps of great shops, bars and restaurants close by. The apartment itself is small but serviceable. There is a fire station on the street but Coleen left earplugs in case it was noisy. We stayed four nights. Coleen was there to meet us and was flexible about check-in and check-out times.

  • Super convenient location, and a smooth handoff. There isn't much airbnb inventory in this neighborhood, so it was great to find an apartment like this.

  • Coleen was very nice. We got the keys and never needed to see her again, but she left plenty of contact info in case we did. Small studio (maybe large by NY standards) but larger or comparable to a hotel room. I loved the neighborhood. Everything was within easy reach. Brooklyn fare for groceries about 2 blocks away. Lots of restaurants. And plenty of subway options for getting to Manhattan and around. I would definately stay here again. Surprisingly quiet, except for an occasional hum from the pipes or radiator. Loved having a kitchen.

  • Our first airbnd experience so nothing to compare it to; very convenient location; clean but small, had a nice Keurig with coffees/hot chocolate. Warm each night, comfortable bed. Coleen very prompt answering our texts. Would stay there again.

  • This studio worked out great! Perfect location for my purposes, easy to make coffee in the morning, small couch to hang out on.

  • I really enjoyed staying at Coleen's apartment. The studio size was ideal for me and in a great location! The apartment is in a lovely, secure building and being on the ground floor, hardly any stairs. Walking distance from all major train lines. Coleen was very accommodating and VERY flexible for check in/out times. Very responsive via email and text- She went out of her way to return an item I had left behind.

About
I've called NYC home for the past two years, after being raised in Los Angeles and a 4 year stint in northern California for college. I'm an engineer from a family of musicians, so basically a walking contradiction with a deep appreciation for both the arts and the sciences. In my free time I enjoy music, martial arts, working out, cooking and baking. I was a late bloomer travel; last summer I went to Spain, Greece, and Edinburgh. I would do it all over again but at the same time there is so much more of the world I want to see!
