The Palm Creek Cottage was cozy and sweet; we loved our stay. It's in a great location that is walking distance to the beach, The Breakfast Club, and the Tybee Science Center. We couldn't have asked for more! Highly recommend.
Elaine was a wonderful hostess. She was quick to answer any questions we had beforehand, and on-site when we arrived. The cottage was small and perfect for a few day get-away on Tybee. Everything was really clean, the outdoor shower was wonderful and we cooked on both the gas grill provided and on the charcoal grill at the park down the street. Thanks for a beautiful stay!
What a cozy little cottage. Elaine and her husband were very gracious hosts. I love that their place is so close to the beach and i could ride my bike anywhere. Thank you Elaine! If I am in the area again I will be in touch for sure.
Palm creek cottage was a great location & very shabby-chic! Elaine has is set up beautifully & was quick to suggest plenty of Island favorites from dining, to bike routes, & kayak adventures! The bed was so comfortable and atmosphere very cozy. Her husband Dan hooked us up w/a kayak tutorial, & suggested a trip for an additional charge, so awesome!! For all of Palm creek cottages up sides be prepared for a true beach experience w/the outdoor shower, the hot water was sufficient for one shower & I wish I had brought my flops. We had a long weekend off season with everything we wanted thanks to Elaine & Dan's hospitality.
We had a wonderful time at Palm Creek Cottage--Elaine was there to meet us and gave us a very thorough and enthusiastic run-down of things to do on Tybee. The week after Christmas on Tybee was pleasantly low-key, but definitely not dead--there was still plenty to see and do.
The cottager was nice and cozy, and the insulated porch made for a nice extra room that held some warmth.
This was a great spot for a mini-vacation while I was in Savannah for the holidays. I was worried about it being warm enough since it was December, but my guest and I slept warmly and comfortably. Though the bathroom had to be entered from the outside, it was nice as well. Since my family was in town I didn't need to use the shower. Overall, a very nice experience in a convenient and cozy spot on Tybee.
My husband and I enjoyed ourselves so much. We are already planning to come back every chance we get it. The cottage was perfect for us. Taking a shower outside was a novel experience and it was a little cold but we loved every second of our trip. Bed was comfortable, room was the perfect size. I loved the fact there was no TV. Made it much more intimate and romantic. The cottage was in perfect walking distance to several great places to eat. Elaine was very sweet and welcoming but gave us our space. The cat that lives there cracked us up by trying to leave with us by hopping in the car when we were loading up to leave. Will definitely be back in the future! Thank you for this wonderful experience and memories!
