  • I arrived at the cabin after dark and Cyndi showed me around. The cabin was clean, comfy, private, and a good temperature. The next morning, I admired the large yard surrounding the cabin and wandered over to greet the horses and the barn cat. I highly recommend this listing if you have a car--it's pretty remote. Cyndi gave me directions over the phone and suggested I use my car's GPS system.

    Response from Cyndi & Sal:

    Hi Rue,
Thanks for the suggestion. There are two remotes and one of them is just to program the sleep timer. The main one can be confusing to use. I like the idea for the instruction card. :-)

  • Sal met us at check in and showed us around the cabin -- cozy, clean and so very relaxing! The bed was extremely comfortable. Since we only stayed one evening we didn't get to use the kitchen but it appeared well-equipped for a small space. Sal was very helpful in pointing out local dining spots and orienting us with the area. We wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you!

  • We had a wonderful stay in the cabin over the holiday weekend. It was away from the crowds, but such a short drive to the beach and some amazing restaurants. Loved all of the personal touches as well as being tucked away in the redwoods. Cyndi and Sal were great hosts and we look forward to returning when headed to the mountains again.

  • This is indeed a cute cabin in the mountains, surrounded by redwoods and horses. It was very peaceful, clean, new, with a lovely comfortable bed and delightful hosts. We spent a week here, and enjoyed every minute of it. Sal and Cyndi were attentive when we needed it, and discreet when we wanted privacy. It's also a short 3 mile drive to Soquel where there was plenty of interesting places to eat, and from there a few more minutes to Capitola and the beach.

  • Cyndi and Sal very friendly and helpful. The room had everything that I needed, was very clean and comfortable. The location was beautiful;peaceful woodlands,dogs,cats,horses,birds....20 minutes to the shoreline, but far away from all the hubbub on a holiday weekend.

  • Cyndi and Sal's place was great. Perfect for a relaxing weekend away with the gal and pup. Cyndi was very responsive and everything from booking to, communication, to finding the cabin was a breeze.

    Would definitely stay here again!

  • Great place and great hosts. So glad we stayed an additional night. Worth the short drive off the beaten path.

  • My husband and I had a wonderful stay in this adorable cabin. The amenities were that of a nice hotel, but the privacy and scenery don't compare to a hotel! Our only regret is that we only stayed 2 nights! We look forward to coming back for a longer stay! Cyndi and Sal were great hosts.
