This cabin is amazing! Really clean, very comfy bed. Lots of amenities. We only got to spend a night here but wish we could of stayed longer.
Cabin is near a couple of horses so if your allergic to horses or something then watch out! Personally I loved the horses.
Place is about 10 mins away from Santa Cruz. Really easy drive down.
Overall great deal! Highly recommend this place.
A true find - cozy cabin, comfortable bed, beautiful location, friendly host, and dog-friendly! All the little touches were lovely (a birthday card for my husband, a doggy pack in case we forgot anything for our dog, firewood by the fire pit in the yard, fresh cream for coffee in the fridge, a hair dryer, etc...) We had a wonderful stay and would love to come back! Thank you Cyndi & Sal!
I had a great time with my girlfriend at the cabin. We got to pet horses and hangout in the nearby cities. They were very helpful when we had to leave early. I recommend there house to anyone coming to the area (:
We loved our stay here! It's a beautiful property. While we didn't have the chance to meet Cyndi as she was out of town Sal was very friendly and available for any questions without being intrusive. It's a quick drive to Soquel and Capitola but feels secluded and private. We also brought my pup and he had his own bag of doggie supplies which was a thoughtful addition. Great little place to stay for a weekend getaway.
Our stay at Cyndi and Sal's was absolutely wonderful! The little cabin is the perfect space for 2 people and is very cozy. We loved being up in the redwoods and petting the horses that are on the grounds. Would recommend for anyone looking for a quiet getaway that is still an easy drive to the beach.
Had a wonderful experience in this cabin. It is was a truly magical getaway. The cabin was clean and cozy. The location was great, housed in a serene forest, yet easy to get to major stores and attractions. The bonus was meeting the horses that live on the property! Cyndi and Sal were attentive and accommodating. We had a great time and will definitely come back.
Cyndi & Sal's spot in the Santa Cruz mountains was simply lovely! Tucked back in the woods, the cottage was surrounded by a calming and peaceful ambiance. It was great to get out of the city for a bit and my pup loved it too! I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone! Great hosts and fabulous property!
The cabin was adorable - and Cyndi and Sal were very gracious hosts. Thank you so much for a delightful stay!
Staying at Cyndi and Sal's was even better than we could have imagined! Our hosts couldn't have been more accommodating. We arrived later than we expected to, and they walked us through directions over the phone to help us get to the property since it was after dark. Cyndi showed us to our room, and we were just blown away with how beautiful it is! Everything was decorated and placed perfectly, and we felt we had all the comforts of home and then some. Cyndi has designed a lot of the interior herself, and it's as beautiful and unique as the property. Future guests are also in for a treat because we got to take a peek at some of the expansion they are working on for the cabin to accommodate more guests, if needed. Our favorite part about staying here were the grounds. We took a lovely nature walk around their ranch, met their horses, pet the kitties, and took tons of pictures of the redwoods and eucalyptus trees surrounding us. There is a creek a short distance from the room, and we had some great photo ops near there and on the forest trail. When it was time to leave, we had only a five-minute drive to Capitola Beach and the quaint, charming village of Soquel where we spent the day. We would highly recommend a stay at this lovely cabin, and we will have such fond memories of our time there for years to come!
My boyfriend and I came for a weekend getaway and were so pleased with the wonderful accommodations from Cyndi. The cabin is lovely, with an awesome rustic feel that fits the rest of the property. It was too bad that it was pouring the weekend we visited because the Marchese's property is amazing. They have obviously put a lot of work into making the place a fun place to live and visit. The set up of the cabin is cozy and comfortable with all the amenities you could possibly need. Cyndi was a thoughtful hostess and even gave us some great dinner and drinks recommendations in Soquel and Capitola (only a 10 minute drive away if that). We had a great time and would definitely consider coming back for a longer stay when the weather is nicer.
