We do not charge a cleaning fee and would like to keep it that way. We do ask that you wash, dry and put away any dishes used and that you tidy up after yourself in the kitchen.
Although we love our pets and would be sure to love yours, we cannot accept pets, due to the stress it causes one of our dogs. Thank you for understanding.
Great experience ! We really love our stay in cindy & Sal's cabin.
Warm welcome, very comfortable cabine, very well equipped.
Great garden where we had dinner and a cup of tea in the morning.
Absolutely loved this place! So cozy and private. Cyndi was great and very welcoming. Appreciated the eggs and milk left for breakfast the next morning. Can't wait to come back!
Awesome! Clean, cozy, and close enough to Santa Cruz to chill out on the boardwalk all day. My family and I had a fantastic time. Cyndi was very kind and answered all of our questions about horses. The fresh eggs and milk were a nice touch. I'd definitely stay here again.
An awesome experience. The location was awesome...in a cute little town right outside of Santa Cruz. A day trip to Monterrey and San Fransisco was easy. The cabin itself was perfect...it's much larger than we thought it would be and is well appointed. The setting was a real treat. The cabin is situated down a one-way path that is beautiful. The horses, goats, and chickens on the property really made the trip for my two year old.
We enjoyed our time at the cabin very much. What a treat to wake up in the woods to the sounds of birds, horses, and goats!
The cabin has modern features, including CLEAN bathroom with shower. The two beds are a queen in the separate bedroom, and a sofa bed in the living area. Both are very comfortable. Loved the kitchen with fresh eggs and milk, full oven/stove, coffee maker (with fresh ground coffee), mini-fridge, and a nice collection of cooking utensils, plates bowls, etc. The tap water has a mineral taste, but Sal and Cyndi supplied optional filtered water for drinking. We used that for our coffee.
We didn't make use of the fire pit because of the drought/fire hazard right now, but the outdoor gathering space is lovely. I drank my coffee out there each morning.
We didn't connect with the hosts except at Sal's initial ke y hand-off. We were busy doing touristy stuff, and Cyndi was out of town. She responded to my email questions right away, though.
The cabin is about 20 minutes from Santa Cruz and Capitola Beach on a beautiful country road. In short, we LOVED it, and will go back anytime we are in the area.
We had the most wonderful stay at Cyndi and Sal's. The decor was fabulous- you feel like you're staying at a modern day ranch! It was very relaxing - the perfect little getaway. The pictures don't do this place justice.
While I was only at the cabin for a night, the space and area is truly magical. Sweeping trees and a REAL bridge greet you on your path to this tucked away special place, and the cabin is far from small. It was a perfect stop over while on business in the area, and I truly look forward to requesting a stay again soon.
About the Host, Cyndi & Sal
We love the outdoors, camping is high up on the list when we have the time. We also enjoy traveling to new places. So far all of our travel has been in the U.S., but we are hoping to someday make a trip to Italy. We're new to hosting and are looking forward to sharing our property and meeting new people.
