Interaction with Guests
We like to meet and greet when possible, then we'll take our cue from you. The BBQ area is jointly used and in the summer we love to fire it up. Join us, we love the company!
Close to town, but feels secluded. No city lights nearby, means great stargazing at night! Quiet and peaceful. Wildlife you may see, Deer, Quail, Owls, Hawks, Turkeys, Coyote, Bobcat, many varieties of birds.
Our property does require a vehicle. Although just minutes to town, we do not have access to public transit.
THIS IS A NON-SMOKING PROPERTY
We do not charge a cleaning fee and would like to keep it that way. We do ask that you wash, dry and put away any dishes used and that you tidy up after yourself in the kitchen.
Although we love our pets and would be sure to love yours, we cannot accept pets, due to the stress it causes one of our dogs. Thank you for understanding.
We loved Cyndi and Sal's cabin! It was a really special retreat from our city life. Cyndi introduced us to the space and gave us some great suggestions about the area, and totally respected our space after that. The cabin is super cozy with great light and everything that we needed. It's nestled in the redwood trees with goats and horses and so many beautiful birds. We enjoyed drinking our coffee outside and steeping ourselves in all the beauty. It's such a good deal and much more awesome in person.
The cabin was amazing -- we absolutely fell in love with this place. The location is beautiful, there is plenty of space, comfortable bed and all you need to cook.
Cyndi was very friendly and helpful, attending to every need. This is highly recommended.
Cyndi & Sal were amazing hosts! We booked with only a couple days notice, and everything was ready when we arrived. We were road tripping down the west coast, and we really appreciated the chance to relax and enjoy a night in a comfortable bed. They recently added a new addition which adds a great kitchen with a gas stove, a dining area and a sitting area where you can cozy up and watch a movie. The farm is wonderful as well, with horses and chickens and a great outdoor area with a fire pit. Altogether, this was exactly what we were looking for!
This place was really awesome! It's the perfect getaway into nature, with a creek and plenty of trees. The eggs and milk in the morning were perfect for breakfast! Cyndi was very kind, as well as informative. She greeted us upon arrival, and showed us her beautiful horse ranch. Definitely a place to come back to for future getaways!
This cute cabin was definitely all that was described and more! Very clean bathroom and comfy bed. We didn't get to meet Cyndi as she was out of town for the weekend, but she made herself readily available through email/phone in case we needed anything. We met Sal for a brief second and he was very nice. The location is great and just minutes drive to the town of Soquel and 15 minutes to Santa Cruz. A few great bars/breweries that is just a short 20 min drive away (Beer Thirty and Santa Adarius). The cabin is easy to find and isolated so it feels very much tucked away in the woods for some tranquility. We would highly recommend this place for your travels to the Santa Cruz area.
The cabin is much larger than pictures show - a fantastic retreat for one, but plenty of space for four as well. Fridge was stocked with freshly gathered eggs, the "fireplaces" made it toasty on a rainy day, and the cabin was just far enough out of town to feel like it was on the side fo a mountain (even though it's less than 20 minutes from downtown Santa Cruz).
This is a very cute very large cabin in the woods and very close to town. Thanks so much for providing eggs and breakfast for us. What a great stay.
We love the outdoors, camping is high up on the list when we have the time. We also enjoy traveling to new places. So far all of our travel has been in the U.S., but we are hoping to someday make a trip to Italy. We're new to hosting and are looking forward to sharing our property and meeting new people.
