About This Listing
My sunny bright apartment is just 3 blocks from Bunker Hill Monument, and 1.6 miles from downtown Boston / financial district.
This quaint, sunny, freshly painted bedroom is located within a 2 bedroom condominium which was built in 1875, and located on a quiet residential street, just 3 short blocks from Bunker Hill Monument in historic Charlestown -- which is right on the Freedom Trail, and home of the Bunker Hill Monument!
The bedroom is furnished with a new twin daybed, fresh linens, an antique desk; as well as wireless internet [also throughout the condo].
The kitchen and bath are located on the same floor, and a light cold breakfast will be offered if you choose; as well as a Kreiug coffee machine, espresso; or even hot tea/chocolate.
Charlestown is a little over 1 mile from the downtown financial district of Boston. Boston Logan Airport is a quick 12 minutes away; and South Station, where the trains and buses come in, is just 3 miles away.
I am a gracious hostess in every sense of the word. Offering a friendly face to come home to and a warm and cozy atmosphere to relax in.
Guest will have access to outdoor deck, if he or she chooses.
We have lovely neighbors, friendly merchants and the community around in which I live, as well as our brick sidewalks, pretty colored houses, apartments and condos. And there's always a dog that is being walked if you like the 4-legged creatures as well.
At the corner of Bunker Hill Street and School Street is the #93 bus that routes you down Bunker Hill St., around the monument and through to the downtown Boston.
On the corner of School and Main Street is the #92 bus that routes you down Main Street, also through downtown Boston.
To get to the Orange Train Line: Walk straight down Mystic St cross over Bunker Hill Street, then down School St. Make a left onto Main St., and a right onto Austin Street (at the traffic light). The walk is just 4 blocks from my apartment.
Please be mindful if walking to my apartment from the Orange Line that it is *mostly UP hill*.
Other Things to Note

Rosalia was extremely friendly, easy going! Her place was very clean and you can get everything you need! It was really wonderful experience to stay there!
Rosalia was a fabulous host and I wanted for nothing during my short stay in Boston. The room was clean, spacious and all round pleasant. Rosalia was helpful in givng advice for my stay in Boston and was lovely company. We even watched the final ever episode of Mad Men together and she was very patient with me in explaining what was going on as I was not up to date!
Rosalia was an awesome host! Her description was perfect and I love the fact that she made it feel "at home". I loved our long conversations and I will truly rate Rosalia a perfect 100%. Her home was clean and very cozy. Could not have asked for a better "home away from home" experience.
Rosalia made me feel totally welcomed. She truly loves running an AirBnB. We enjoyed some chats and even watched TV together. The bedroom was roomy and I appreciated having a small desk and coffee in the morning. The location is very convenient. I would definitely return.
I stayed with Rosalia for a short time while visiting Boston to run in the Boston marathon. Truly a pleasure to have stayed with Rosalia during my time in Boston. Rosalia is all that you would want in a host; pleasant, friendly, accommodating, helpful and good natured. It was like walking into an old friends house. Such a great host. Rosalia made sure I had everything I might need, offered up her place as my own and made sure I knew how to get to where I was going. I needed some flexibility with my check out time and Rosalia was kind enough to consider and accommodate. Rosalia even took some time to show me around Boston and join me for my post-race celebration! Like I said, it was like hanging out and catching up with an old friend.
The flat, room, location and neighborhood is exactly as described and, as Rosalia will tell you, there are easy ways to get around from her place. Rosalia's place has everything you might need or is within short walking distance to where you can get it. Room and restroom were tidy, as was the rest of the place.
Communication with Rosalia for booking and throughout was spot on.
About the Host, Rosalia
Hi and welcome to my humble home! I am Rosalia, a young professional and part-time yoga teacher. I have lived in Boston for 14 years and love entertaining visitors from near and far.
I am an easy going person -- in my home, at work, and even when I travel. Yoga is my real passion.
I consider myself a foodie being the daughter of a retired executive chef, so I am happy to recommend any type of restaurant during your stay in Boston. It is one of my specialties! Charlestown now has a Whole Foods Market, just 3 blocks away from my house.
Also residing in my apartment is BlackJack21. He is a 9-year old Dutch rabbit, who is friendly and *lives free-range in the condo*, moving about as he pleases -- oh, and he's litter box trained, too in case you are wondering about that. If he knudges you with his nose, that is his way of saying hello and that he wants you to pet him. Watch out if you are eating anything crunchy...he loves chips and will beg for them if you are eating them.
My favorite city in the entire world is London, and I would move there in a heartbeat --if I could take my job and pet rabbit with me! [Perhaps we could do a house swap if you have a property in England?]
