We had a lovely week here in Traverse City, just a block away from the beach. The night breezes from the lake kept it cool, and the days kept us outside exploring. The house itself is older, with some character; we found it comfortable and more than adequate to our needs. Everything you might need within easy walking distance! Pamela was easy going and a pleasure to interact with.
Perfect location and great host. I would recommend this place especially for the price.
We had a lovely stay in Pamela's house in Traverse City. The house is very old and has some elements of wear and tear, but overall it is perfectly functional and served my and my sister's family well. Just for the sake of comprehensive feedback, there are some little quibbles that one might have, for example the basement is musty and appears to be under construction; there is only one air conditioning unit in the window of one room, leaving all the other bedrooms and living spaces reliant on fans. But the price is also quite reasonable for TC, Pamela is right next door and very open and friendly, the location is FANTASTIC (walking distance to downtown and Clinch Park), and there is a fenced in yard for the kids to play in. The kitchen is furnished and very functional, and the living room is spacious and cool even in the middle of the summer. We would stay here again.
The location was perfect. Walking distance to downtown and beach. The bike trails were close and awesome! Pamela was very accomodating! We were able to store our bikes in her garage. She has a smaller rental that is just adorable! Will be booking again!
We visited TC for a wedding and needed an affordable option for us, two daughters, a son in law and 2 babies. The house accommodated us for the price of one hotel room. The location was central to all TC attractions allowing us to walk to the beach, walk to downtown, and walk over to the TC Pie Factory to get a cherry pie for our ride home.
This was our second time staying in this house and it was just as fantastic. We didn't need to get in a car the whole weekend with the beach a few mins walk away and downtown an easy walk too. Perfect! House is spacious and light and easily big enough for 2 families and the host Pamela very welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be back!

About the Host, Pamela
Traverse City has been a great place for me to pioneer natural approaches to health and wellness, since 1978. I raised my boys in this very neighborhood, and grew up at Higgins Lake, only an hour away. For the past 25 years, I have done massage therapy. Currently I am following my passion to dance!
