We visited TC for a wedding and needed an affordable option for us, two daughters, a son in law and 2 babies. The house accommodated us for the price of one hotel room. The location was central to all TC attractions allowing us to walk to the beach, walk to downtown, and walk over to the TC Pie Factory to get a cherry pie for our ride home.
This was our second time staying in this house and it was just as fantastic. We didn't need to get in a car the whole weekend with the beach a few mins walk away and downtown an easy walk too. Perfect! House is spacious and light and easily big enough for 2 families and the host Pamela very welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be back!
Pamela is a really nice lady with a home in a great location. It is very convenient to walk to stores and restaurants.
The house is 100 years old, which many guests appreciate. I don't mean to mislead anybody and appreciate your comment. Electric and plumbing are updated and I added air conditioning and a second bathroom. I choose to keep the rate low rather than remodel, which would take away the charm. I can recommend a more modern place for you to stay if you return to this area.
My husband and I rented the house for his family the week after our wedding. Pamela was very nice to work with. Home has a good location and is very simple set up. Good place to stay if you are looking to take advantage of the downtown Traverse City area.
Beautiful multi-bedroom home within walking distance to the water and the city. Pamela was very considerate and accommodating. She let us park our bikes in her garage. There is a grill in the yard and a nice 2nd bathroom/ shower in the basement. We would stay again.
Pamela is a gem. We met her shortly after arrival and she briefed us on the area, home, and amenities. She is a sweet lady with a beautiful property in the heart of downtown TC! The home reminds me of a place I lived in at Michigan State, so homey and quaint. The bedrooms are large and provide ample space for belongings. The beds were comfortable and everything was spotless upon arrival. The kitchen has all the basics you will need and the home actually has 2 bathrooms! The new one is in the basement and it's beautiful! My husband and I couldn't hab5e found a better place. We hope to be back again next summer!
This Traverse City house was described accurately and was comfortable for our 3 night stay. Pamela was a gracious host and made sure we got into the house after our arrival was delayed. Most everything is included to make your stay easy. The house is old, but comfortable and well kept.

About the Host, Pamela
Traverse City has been a great place for me to pioneer natural approaches to health and wellness, since 1978. I raised my boys in this very neighborhood, and grew up at Higgins Lake, only an hour away. For the past 25 years, I have done massage therapy. Currently I am following my passion to dance!
