Quietly located vacation apartment in a historic forester's lodge, ideal for time out in nature. Right on the edge of the forest in a small village in the Sauerland - perfect for hikes, mountain bike tours, motorcycle tours and walks with your dog. The Rothaarsteig trail and winter sports facilities are close by. Dog-friendly, close to nature and cozy - here you can enjoy pure relaxation in the middle of the Sauerland forests. Schmallenberg with its many shopping facilities is within easy reach.

The space
The cozy vacation apartment offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. In the living room you will find a sofa bed, a TV and a warm open fire for relaxing evenings. The well-equipped kitchen has a seating area, electric stove, microwave, kettle and various kitchen utensils - ideal for self-catering.

For animal and nature lovers, the "Wisent-Wildnis Wittgenstein" (bison wilderness) on the Rothaarsteig, about a 10-minute drive away, is a worthwhile excursion destination.
Latrop is also home to the "Waldarbeiter- und Försterpfad" (forest workers' and foresters' trail), a circular hiking trail on the historical development of the region, which includes a stop at the threshing floor of the old forester's lodge.
The town of Schmallenberg is approx. 8 km away and offers a wide range of shopping facilities, an outdoor pool, various restaurants, bars, a gym and bicycle rental options (f.e. Aubic-Fahrrad).
Around 15 km away is the family-friendly Sauerland Bad in Bad Fredeburg, which offers swimming pools, slides and a spacious sauna area.
