Come stay in your very own, private 1950's travel trailer in beautiful Flagstaff, AZ ! Newly refurbished, plush, with a rustic salvaged wood deck, sunset views, miles of open forest trails & all the amenities !
Newly built barn wood deck - west facing for perfect sunsets. Great filtered light and shade during the day ; )
Located conveniently close to town, restaurants, natural grocers, and everything you could need - this space also has the feel like you're in the country side.
Elk and deer can be seen in the field across the way, birds of all kinds sing and say hello from nearby trees, and the night sky is rich with shooting stars and fresh clean air ; )
We're far away from the noise of the railway, and backed up to miles of open state land & hiking & biking trails, so you can have an adventure right in your own backyard.
Besides the open land, short drive to Sedona, Oak Creek Canyon, and straight shot to Grand Canyon, the property itself is funky and unique. Partly shared with a salvage contractor, amongst the tall green grass and summer sun flowers, you'll be in the company of old rail cars, 40's & 50's farm trucks, more vintage trailers, and many other western attractions ; ) Great photo ops right here !
This is one of the biggest traveling models - 30 feet X 8 feet. The toilet isn't what you'd normally find in an RV rather a home-style fully flushing unit with no worry of odors, dumping tanks, etc ; )
Most people who will be interested in this are looking for a unique experience, but just keep in mind that this is a space designed ergonomically, snug .. there's lots of open storage and counter space, but please do keep in mind that this is a trailer, designed simplistically and with no unneeded frills.
The trailer has: a cozy brand new heather, a plush double bed, cute little kitchen, cozy dinner table with fluffy Chevy Bel Air-style benches on each side.
The shower has just been plumed with hot on-demand (these spaces are designed for maximum living space, and it has one of those steamer-ship-style toilet and shower all in one room setups.)
Fridge, hot plate, microwave, organic coffee & teas for our lovely guests ; )
Interaction with Guests
One of the best parts of this space is that it's fully self contained and private ... for less than the price than many shared rooms in people's homes. We'll be around if you need anything, but this will be your little sanctuary for rest & relaxation ; )
Beautiful. Open. Natural & Rural ; )
4 miles from town - can be walked or biked.
No pets. Respectful and quiet in the evenings. No smoking inside - on porch with door closed ok.) Have fun !
I had a wonderful stay in Anjie's vintage trailer. She greeted me warmly when I arrived and the place was spotless. The vintage touches and attention to detail made it all the more special. It is a very cozy space but so well designed that it suited me perfectly. The bed was very comfortable, too. Communication and directions made it easy for me to find the trailer. All in all, a first class experience! Thank you, Anjie!
This was our first airbnb booking and I'm so glad that it was. It was such a great experience. Anjelina is such a sweet and wonderful person. She has maintained and kept this airstream so well. It was so cozy and it felt like home for my boyfriend and me during our two nights in Flagstaff. Her attention to detail in the decor was lovely. She also provides amazing coffee in the trailer. I miss it already! Definitely would love to come back another time. :)
There are not many words to describe the location, the warmth and spirit of Angie and all she is offering. We absolutely loved the whole place and the personality of Angie. She did so much work to have this trailer like it is now and it is up the the vistitor to find out what is like staying with her. She made us feeling like home, knowing each other for a long time and being a friend. The conversations with her are mind widening in all circumstances and we would have loved to stay with her for a longer time. Niklas could not stop using the trampoline and playing with her dogs. We were allowed to walk into her home and shared her privacy. It is for sure that we will keep in touch with her. Thank you for a wonderful and extraordinary time with you!
The reservation was canceled 2 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
The property was rustic and charming. The stars were amazing at night. We had zero issue checking in or out. The trailer was clean. Got a bit cold at night as we weren't sure if we could have the heater going all night. Warmer than our original plan of tent camping! Overall great experience and would recommend.
Staying in this trailer was pretty great. The whole lot is filled with vintage trailers, and Angie and Grace were amazing. Very friendly and welcoming people. I'd recommend this place to anybody who is looking for some real America (in a good way) as we were.
How can words describe the unique experience of staying in the Spartan? I will try by saying, "Awesome!" It was a wonderful night in Flagstaff. The inside of the Spartan is vintage and amazing, the night sky outside-mind blowing, and the vintage salvage yard full of many treasures. I would stay there again and again. I wish I would have stayed for more nights.
I have a love for vintage trailers, and this is one of my very favorite ; ) Handy with restorations and savvy for finding these hidden gems out here in the Wild West, I'm happy to offer this Spartan Mansion to friendly travelers from all over the world! Please contact me with any questions or to book a stay in the pines ; )
