The home is in a Belizean neighbourhood. sits at the end of an un paved street. It has a central american village atmosphere as does the town of San Pedro. We are surrounded by trees and birds! Feels like home. Breezy with great view. Easy walk to watch sunrise and sunset on the beach or lagoon. The destination for the mindful traveller.

It is a real Belizean neighbourhood. My neighbours are Belizean. There is a world class restaurant very close. Signature cocktails and tasteful tapas. If you are in the mood for a warm croissant, wander to the bakery. Its also close to a lovely swimming pool and the incredible endless, beach.
I have two bikes for guests. You can walk to the beach, pool, store and restaurants. I suggest renting a golf-cart which can be delivered to the property. Either my taxi guy or I will pick you up from the airport or water taxi. Let me know your details.

Diana was very gracious and welcoming with two ice cold Vitamin Triple Bs, aka Belize Belikin beers. The space was airy and light filled and very convenient to shops and the beach.
My wife and I had a great time on the island and Diana's home and advice played a big part in that. We would definitely stay here again.
This is a fun place; Diana welcomed us with open arms and a big warm smile. She also went to the trouble of making a "treasure map" for her guests which highlighted some of her favorite places on the island. This was a wonderful guide and we used her recommendations frequently and found them to be great.
Diana makes herself available and is happy to help with making arrangements for taxis, snorkeling, whatever you need.
We had a great time in the tree tops hearing the birds singing everyday. Great place for free spirits!
Diana was great from the very first moment we booked our stay at her treetop suite. After we arrived at her house, she let us settle down and we had our first Belizean beers which were waiting for us in the fridge. Moments later, she sat us down and showed us her own customized map, with all the best places to go for restaurants, roadside fruitstands/food, bars, dive shops etc. The treetop suite itself was great! We had the best breezes coming into our room during those hot nights and there wasn't a night that passed that didn't end with me laying on the hammock for a little while before bed. I fully intend to stay at the treetop suite at Diana's when I head back to Belize. Thanks Diana, for being such a great host!
As everyone else has stated before us, the treetop apartment was nice and clean. The breeze up there was incredible. And the patio was enormous and well appointed with a hammock, which I highly recommend enjoying in that breeze. Although you can't see it from the photos, there's actually a partial lagoon view from up there.
Now as to the location, we loved it. You're a short walk to the beach and in a very quiet area on the south side of town. With only three main streets through town, it was a sanctuary to be so close and yet just off the thoroughfare. It really lent to feeling like we lived on Ambergris for a week verses being tourist visiting the island. There are markets and a nice bakery nearby which was great in the morning.
My husband and I stayed there for a week and after meeting some of the other guests there, I cannot help but feel we did it right. It afforded us the opportunity to enjoy the activities that we wanted to engage in and to take some time to really get to know the island, acquaint ourselves with the locals, and re-energize after so much fun in the sun and water.
Diana was a great asset at helping us with arrangements. All the businesses and people that she sent us to were fantastic. She even arranged for us to have a personal tour guide of the mainland of Belize, which included a reasonable overnight stay. Listen to her recommendations. She is very good at getting feedback on how her guest's adventures went and has a ton of experience.
Thank you Diana, we will be back.
This was our best stay in Belize. Beautiful comfortable beds in a nice bright room with a fabulous breeze. The balcony is huge and surrounded by trees. Diana was warm and welcoming and made us feel at home. She is helpful, accommodating and a wealth of information on things to do on the island. Diana offered us the use of bicycles, however we chose to rent a golf cart which gave us more accessibility to the entire island. She was always interested in what we were going to do and gave suggestions of what we might enjoy. She was also eager to hear about what we did each day.
We look forward to returning to Ambergris one day and we will definitely plan to stay here again. Thank you Diana.
Diana was quite the host! From the very first day, she made us feel welcomed. She placed a beautiful sign on her board, sat with us to review our itinerary for the weekend and provided us with the accommodations necessary to get around. The review is spot on! It is a quiet haven in the trees. The facilities were not only clean but better than a hotel! The following amenities came in quite handy for left overs and saving snacks: fridge, microwave, glasses, plates and utensils. We are so glad we stayed here for our first half our honeymoon experience in Belize. After coming off a long flight and the hustle bustle of NYC, it was nice to lay back and enjoy the cool island breeze in the hammock and eat tasty food at night. Definitely listen and follow all of Diana's recommendations as they were SPOT on! She not only knows the island but many people know her very well and she has a good rapport with everyone!
