The Admiral Peary Inn is a charming Victorian home with 7 rooms each with a private bath. Once the residence of Arctic explorer Admiral Robert E. Peary, it features cozy common areas, a library, and is full of history. Located near the White Mountains and Saco River, it’s a peaceful, pet-friendly retreat perfect for all seasons. Our home can handle any size group! Located only 15 minutes from downtown North Conway, our home is perfectly situated near everything in the Mt Washington Valley.

The space
This Country Inn was Built in 1865 in Fryeburg Village. Explorer Robert Peary made this his home for many years. . We are located minutes from Fryeburg center, off of Main Street, on a quaint side street. We are nestled in the beautiful Mount Washington Valley area, located near the Saco River basin. The Admiral Peary Inn is a haven for those who appreciate nature and exceptional hospitality.

All 7 rooms have: Private Bathrooms, mini refrigerators, microwaves, Keurig coffee makers, coffee selection, Air Conditioners and WIFI.
Comfortable common areas in home for relaxing, including a 3 season porch, wonderful library, 2 sitting rooms and a game room. Kitchen is spacious with seating for 16. Home is fully stocked with everything needed for gourmet cooking.
Take full advantage of the spectacular views while enjoying time on our sun porch, relaxing in our library, or watch TV in our great common room. Sit outside by the firepit or grille on the gas BBQ. Enclosed yard for dogs to run. Pets allowed with a fee.

The large back yard features a gas fire pit as well as a fire pit, two decks and sun loungers.

Whether you come to ski, snowmobile, hike, fish, bike, golf, horseback riding, snowshoeing, or to enjoy any of the many year round activities offered in this lovely recreation destination, the Admiral Peary Home is the perfect place to experience it all.

Have entire inn to yourself. Allow up to 4 pets, with a fee of $125.00 each pet.
