We had a great stay at Tatiana's. Very good location close to public transport and lots of great cafes and restaurants nearby.

Fantastic location for good weather as it was a nice walk to Atlantic Ave where you can get every subway line. Had weather been poor, it might not have been as convenient as we may have been limited G /C are Immaculate apt with everything we needed. Loved nearby Meckelburgs.

Tatiana’s place is very accommodating with all the needed amenities. She is also very flexible with letting guests into the apartment after check in hours. One small note would be that if the directions button is pressed in the listing, Airbnb routes you to a completely different location. Not Tatiana’s fault just a note of warning. Would love to return someday!

$100 one night fee charged after booking, and the door is very difficult to figure out how to open. The neighborhood is nice, and the unit is really nice and clean. Cute area and there was a great block party with jazz music on the day we left. Tatiana was very pleasant, but the man that lives in the first floor was belligerent with us about not knowing how to use the front door.

Response from Tatiana:
Jordan and friends left the front doors wide open when coming come late at night. This is very troubling as it leaves everyone in the home at risk. If they had any difficulties with closing the door (a simple task) they should have texted me and I would have gladly helped. Leaving the home wide open is not ok.

The apartment is fantastic, Tatiana is the perfect host. Staying in Brooklyn is a great idea - away from exhausting Manhattan, which is easily reachable by subway. The apartment has everything you need and is exactly as the listing describes. Air conditioned, comfortable etc. Thanks Tatiana!

Most awful Airbnb experience I've ever had and I've stayed at 25+. We were not given the correct room upon check in, the front door to the building was completely impossible to open and we were not given any instructions beforehand on the hacky method that was needed to pry it open. An apparent stranger (turned out to be her husband) who was not mentioned in the listing barged into the apartment after we checked in and caused a lot of confusion / was extremely disrespectful to us. Scared both of my friends who wanted to stay elsewhere afterwards. Also, after paying I was told that there was a 100$ extra charge for 1 night stays. Shouldn't put your listing up with a 1 night min in that case and shouldn't treat your customers like that.
Tatiana User Profile
Response from Tatiana:
Mike left the building open when he arrived, and was rude and racist to my husband, refused to return keys that he accidently took from the downstairs unit, woke us up at 1:30 am to get in the house and then left with a set of keys which he has refused to return thus far. These guests have no manners and respect, they should not be staying in people's homes.

I've lived in New York for 30 years. I speak French, Spanish, Slovak, and English, and have working knowledge in Italian and Russian. I've worked in communications, language translation, and for the recent 15 years as a real estate agent and developer. I love to cook, and I've been told I'm pretty good at it.
