Kirsten is a great and responsive communicator. Was very flexible and accommodating and made us feel very welcome. The apartment was as described, clean, comfortableI and relaxing. It was in the perfect location - close to everything that's cool, but not too close. Walking distance to Central Park, as well as Broadway and cool restaurants at all ends of the price spectrum. Kirstens place is reasonably priced in a safe trendy neighbourhood. The perfect place to chill after a long day of walking the City.
We enjoyed staying that their place. The flat is quite basic but clean and with all you need. Host were attentive and adjusted to my early flight arrival schedule, which I really appreciated.
Moreover, I love this area of (website hidden)'s very well located if you like to go to the Met Opera or Central Park.
Kirsten responded quickly to our request, answered all of our questions (and we had a lot that had to do with parking, street conditions since the snow storms, etc.), and helped us gain an expectation that our trip was going to turn out well, and it very much did turn out extremely well. She also made it easy to arrange getting in and leaving at a comfortable time. The neighborhood is excellent. It is safe, not loud or too busy, and close to everything you would want in a trip to NYC. Kirsten's apartment is perfect for two, extremely clean and uncluttered, easily maneuvered, and nicely warm even tho it was below freezing outside. We made our own breakfasts and had snacks at the apartment. We had the place to ourselves - which is as was advertised, and it really is perfect for two, or one, or three close people who don't mind if one ends up sleeping on a couch. Terrific decorative touches, high-tech responsiveness. An easy walk to the subway we parked our car on the street and never moved it, taking walks or subways everywhere. The other apartments near-by were quiet and it almost seemed like we were alone. The building has a safe feel to it and secured doors with lots of glass so you feel like you can keep your eyes on everything. A variety store is near-by, Starbucks, every kind of restaurant, you just can't beat this location - and it's such a nice place. Thank you Kirsten!
Kirsten was very friendly, courteous and accommodating for our stay. The location was convenient to the subways system, Central Park and many great restaurants. The apartment was larger than we expected. The amenities were exactly as advertised.
The main living room was a little drafty due to the broken window glass behind the sofa. The microwave and the refrigerator in kitchen could both use a good cleaning and we were disappointed that we could not make any coffee in the unit because the French press was cracked and unusable. Unfortunately like many apartments in the city we had to exterminate some bugs.
We would have no problems staying here again in the future.
Kirsten was great about communicating with me from the beginning. Although she couldn't be there, she arranged for us to get the key, and that went very smoothly. Her place was as described and very clean and comfortable for our three night stay. The location was ideal for us with two metro stops nearby. We felt very safe in the neighborhood and would definitely stay here again. Thanks, Kirsten.
I had a good experience at this apartment. Kirsten's husband Chubi met me at the apartment to provide the key and a brief tour - he was very kind and informative. Just about everything I needed was in the apartment, and the apartment was clean and orderly. The location is great. I give Kirsten, Chubi and their apartment two thumbs up.
