Stephen and I let rooms in our lovely house situated 8kms west of Dingle on the beautiful Slea Head Drive. Stephen is a musician and painter, and I am a musician and Ayurvedic massage therapist.
A continental breakfast of fresh bread and rolls, local cheeses and jams, fruit, tea and coffee is included: but, if you're up for a hearty Irish breakfast, I can whip one up for you too.
There are plenty of things to do and see within a few kms of our place; such as, Irish trad music, local pubs, beautiful beaches and landscapes for painting and photographing, swimming, surfing, diving, fishing, horseback riding and hill walking. And of course Fungi, the dolphin! Its also worth mentioning that if you're into golf, The Dingle Golf Links Course is just 4kms down the road.
And, after a day full of activities, you can have an Ayurvedic massage to relax and unwind.
We are 2.5 hours from Cork and Shannon airports, 1.5 hours from Kerry airport.
Stephen and I look forward to making your visit to Ireland a warm memorable experience.

Interaction with guests

Stephen and I are very social and we love meeting people from all over the world. We let our guests be at ease with how much they want to socialize with us. If a guest wants to do their own thing and only have a few passing words, that's fine. If a guest wants to sit in our sitting room by the fire and have a good conversation, that's fine too. Either way, Stephen and I are always here to answer questions and make sure everything is ok.

We are 8kms out of Dingle town and there is no public transportation in our area. If you're not driving you can get a taxi to our place which costs between 13 to 15 euros

Okay first off... Linda and Stephen are awesome! They're both extremely talented. I got into town and was expecting to take a taxi to their place but they surprised me at the bus stop because they just happened to still be in town at the same time I was arriving. Their house is very homey and I loved it. They invited me to join them for conversations in the living room. They also invited me to join them at a neighbors cookout/bonfire with another Airbnb guest. I would definitely recommend this place to people and also a rental car or something is recommended.. I didn't have one and it become a slight problem but Linda and Stephen were happy to call taxis for me to take me back into town for the bus, unfortunately none were available so they took me themselves. Stephen invited the other guest and me to join him at the pub down the street where he plays music every Friday night! I had an 8 hour bus ride the day I left and Linda had fixed me a little bag with some food in it. You must stay here!

Linda and Stephen are the most warm and welcoming hosts ever. They really made me feel at home and were always checking to make sure that I had everything I needed. Stephen even gave me a lift to town to catch my bus when I left. The Dingle peninsula is stunningly beautiful and Linda and Stephen's home is located in a lovely rural part of it. It's a bit far from the towns but the walking is beautiful.

We had a wonderful time staying with Linda and Stephen. They were extremely hospitable and made our stay very enjoyable. The location of the house is perfect for exploring areas outside of Dingle town and it is about a 15min drive into the town. Taxis were difficult to get the weekend we were down, because of Other Voices, but otherwise it's a great location to go into the town for the night and make your way home. I would recommend staying with Linda and Stephen to anyone.

Linda and Stephen are great! It's a very comfortable stay, full use of kitchen and an awesome breakfast made by Linda. Close to a few pubs and of course the beautiful coast.

Linda and Stephen were both magnificent, lovely, warm-hearted people. The breakfast and conversation were equally delicious. Their place was gorgeous, with amazing views and so close to Dingle, and right on Slea Head drive-the coastal road of adventures! I would recommend staying through a Friday night so you can be a part of the local music down at the pub (though if you miss it there is music at Murphy's in Dingle every night).

From the moment we booked Linda was in contact with us not only providing the information we asked for, but providing information we didn't even know we needed. From the time we arrived she and Steve were gracious and kind and helpful. The accommodations were very clean and just as advertised. The breakfasts were delicious and bountiful and varied. When we asked for advice about walks in the area they were both helpful and accurate. They gave excellent advice about places to eat and they even invited us (which one of us took up) out to a local pub one night for a great evening of music and community. It is hard to imagine it could have been better. They were grand!

This was truly a wonderful and magical experience. Linda and stephen were absolutely great. Warm, welcoming and full of information about the peninsula. They're both local musicians and brought us to the pub our first night where they played beautiful Irish music with other locals. The breakfasts were hearty with lots of choice. The home was sparkling and warm. I can't recommend this listing high enough

I am a portuguese/american living in Ireland. I am a certified Ayurvedic Massage therapist and professional singer. I'm also a great cook and love to socialize. I speak three languages; English, Spanish and Portuguese. My partner Stephen is a professional musician and painter and we would be very happy to show you a wonderful time on your holiday here in Ireland. In particular, if you are a musician or a painter, we can guide you to places where you can play music or paint.
