  • My husband and I stayed in Mireille's flat during our week-long visit to Montreal. Though, Mireille was away on business, we were kindly greeted by her boyfriend, Jimmi, and Mirelle left flowers, fruit and chocolates to welcome us. The apartment was in a perfect location (close to some of the best bakeries and restaurants around) and very accessible to the Laurier and Mont-Royal metro stations. The decor of the apartment is lovely and both my husband and myself very much enjoyed our stay in Mireille's home. We would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in a beautiful, more residential and less-touristy area of Montreal. Thanks Mireille and Jimmi!

  • We had a fantastic stay! The apartment was amazing, so clean and well done. Could not have asked (email hidden)e location is fantastic - close to metro, shops, bakeries and restaurants. Mireille went out of her way to make us welcome by providing advice on where to go, some chocolates and coffee since we were arriving late. She was very accommodating, waiting up late for us when we got delayed on our trip. Was a brilliant experience and highly recommend this place!!

  • This was an incredible apartment. I think it is even lovelier in person than in the pictures. I loved the minimal, but sophisticated style. The place was very clean with modern fixtures. The location is perfect and the house is on a very cute street with loads of curly Montreal staircases.
Mireille was there to meet me and show me around the place. It was all totally prepared and she had a very helpful guide with tips and information we might need.

  • I had a wonderful stay in Mireille's apartment. It is quite literally a 'Perfect little nest in Le Plateau'. Her place is very clean as is exactly as it is shown in pictures. It is in a lovely and quiet neighbourhood that is walking distance from the station and everything you need! Mireille had a informative little manual indicating the best of the best restaurants, cafes, bakeries, ice cream shops, and brunch places. Her boyfriend Jimmi, was also kind enough to point out some local bars playing the Montreal Canadiens play off game. I would definitely recommend staying in Mireille's cozy and very well decorated apartment :)

  • Mireille (email hidden) and her apartment was everything I was looking for: clean, cozy, beautifully decorated, and with a desk next to a window that was perfect for writing. Mireille and I kept in touch by text message over the course of the week, which I appreciated because it was my first time in Montreal (she gave me advice about BYOW restaurants!). She even had a little booklet of her own recommendations for around the city, let me use her washing machine, and shared her father's homemade maple butter! In other words, this was a great spot and I was so happy to have spotted it in the listings. Highly recommended.

  • Mireille was a gracious and accommodating host who made it easy for us to access her place, even though she had to depart town before our arrival. Even earlier than her usual check in time.

However, it was not pleasant arriving to a place filled with used garbage bags, empty drink bottles, etc. We had a fairly busy travel schedule and upon returning there after a night out we realized the place was rather pungent from the garbage stacked indoors from the days before. Furthermore, running out of toilet paper was a bit annoying.

I hope to chalk this up to being a long weekend and Mireille being busy for Easter but I would absolutely not stay here again. Adding in that there were no blinds on the windows (stairway looking in when you're in the loo), dirty toilet, etc. I was tempted to book a hotel for our second night but my girlfriend was insistent that we stay the course.

In Mireille's defence she sent a text saying she would never allow people to stay in her place in such a state - after we left. So maybe you will be in good hands another time - but our experience was a 1/(website hidden) -

    Miereile's feedback:

    Dear Ryan,
"Sad, very sad. We could have just communicate like adults."

    - hope that by 'communication' you mean that you wash your bathtub before the next guest. Also by 'adults' I hope that you refer to emptying your bin in your washroom at least once a year.

    Hello Ryan,

I just came back home, and I noticed I forgot the garbages in the kitchen, and there was not enough toilet paper left for you. I'm really sorry about that, I would have never leave my place like that for a traveler. I hope this didn't bother you too much, and you had a great week-end otherway...!

    My apologies,

spent your hard earned dollars somewhere else - this level of lying about my integrity shoes (email hidden) you are potentially dealing with

  • We had a wonderful stay at Mirielle's apartment. Everything was as seen in photos. Coordinating with her was very easy. The apartment was very clean and organized, and the perfect size for two people. It was located in a great location close to cafes, restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay here again.

  • Mireille's place in Montreal is really perfect! Her design sense is wonderful and her lifestyle clean and efficient. Mireille greeted my boyfriend and I pleasantly and with ease. She showed us a great list of recommended places in the neighbourhood (which happened to match the places I already love myself!). She also responded to any of our questions in the run up to our visit right away.

I'd definitely recommend her as a host and would stay at her apartment again when I visit Montreal next!
