About this listing

The space

The Space
Views of the Bay Bridge make it impossible to mistake where you've come. Split-level Loft offers private bedrooms and two full bathrooms, kitchen, dining area and work stations with iconic San Francisco views. Exposed cement walls and piping add a Modern SF feel.

I moved to SOMA to start my business because the neighborhood brings a lot of energy and opportunity. Great mix of start-up professionals and visitors from all over the world.. the conversations you hear in line at coffee shops and food trucks are inspiring to say the least; valuations, IPO's, mergers, new technologies, new app solutions... there is no other place like it on earth.

The entire place is yours to ideate, rest or simply leave your things while you embrace San Francisco.

SoMa (South of Market) is the premier downtown neighborhood and walking distance from:

- Moscone Convention Center
- Pier One Ferry Building
- Museum of Modern Art
- Union Square
- AT&T Park Giants Baseball Stadium
- Numerous cafes, restaurants and bars.

Perfect jump off point for whatever brings you to San Francisco;
- House hunting
- Interview
- Travel
- Transition

Andre is a great host! Checking in is super easy and he is friendly and very responsive when we have any question. The location of the place is great, a short walk to the Ferry Building and Fishermen's Wharf. The place is well equipped and comfortable. The only caution is that the third bedroom's bed is a bit small if you travel as a couple (the other two bedrooms are very spacious). You also get a nice working space if needed. So overall recommend the place for stay over in SF!

Andres was a great host for our visit. We rented out the entire loft and found the location and size to really fit our needs. The loft captures SF's entrepreneurial spirit in every way. Andres was proactive in his communication. I'd recommend this place to friends.

Andrés is a lovely host. Very accommodating via messaging and text. The space worked for my team (we were in SOMA/SF for business), and we each got our own space. Downstairs was nice as a common space for us all to huddle up during our stay. The loft wasn't incredibly pristine and super clean, but it worked for our time there. Fridge was smelly and irritated my teammates a bit, but we got over it eventually. I'd say this was probably one of my first times being in an Airbnb that felt like someone else lived there, so that was something different and cool in a way. I did appreciate Andrés being able to work with us and arrange for us to have his parking spot in his loft's garage for a nominal fee.

Andres absolutely made us feel welcome - 2nd year in a row! The location is perfect for the show we attended at Moscone Center, and close to many amazing restaurants (in the food business, this is important to us). The condo has lots of room, is very comfortable and we are fortunate to be able to make it our home when traveling from Maine! Thanks Andres :)

Andres was very helpful in providing information regarding the area, parking and other questions we had prior to arrival. The place looked just as shown in the pictures - very modern and cool but with a cozy feel. We really felt like we were at home there! it was a great location close to restaurants and transportation - loved it!

This loft was a perfect choice for me and my team while visiting San Francisco on business. Everything was as-advertised, and response to questions and needs was timely and professional. Would definitely stay here again!

When we arrived 10 minutes early, our host was occupied installing a mattress. There was no walk-through or instruction sheet. Location and space for three friends was great, but comfort supplies were low. There were no hand towels, no wash cloths, no kitchen towels, no extra blankets (heating is primitive), and only three pillow cases. All the bedding was wet, wadded up in the dryer. The kitchen and bathroom garbage had not been dumped. Better lighting would be helpful. A microwave would be useful.

Spring in Manhattan, Summer in Barcelona, Fall in San Francisco and Winter in Buenos Aires - you'll always know where to find me...

I operate a Tour and Hospitality Company called Vin Ambassador. My team of Sommeliers (socially savvy wine professionals) and I offer privately guided experiences deep within the dusty cellars of Northern California and also know how to spot the best table and menu for a casual day of rest and relaxation.

My "dance card" is somewhat daunting, so I'm often a ghost; running out for a day in Wine Country with clients, stepping out for a brief meeting around the corner, and I'm in an MBA program at U.C. Berkeley Haas School of Business. Therefore, I am always grateful to stop, breath and raise a glass with guests.

Generally, maintain a healthy lifestyle; former Marine, do a bit of yoga, running, Jiu-Jitsu and like to go out dancing - big believer of "everything in moderation, including moderation". Committed to gratitude and dabbling in Buddhism. I'm also Sommelier so there is nearly always a bottle of something open.

I enjoy an intimate social life spending a couple nights a week; solving world problems over wine, cooking, and the occasional whiteboard session. Beyond that, I tend to be in Napa a couple nights a week, travel domestically a few times a year with at least one big trip abroad. I surround myself with positive/supportive people, looking for guests who do the same.
