This cozy 6 BR Historic Homestead -sleeps 14 - on 2 acres with over 500 feet of waterfront along Wingate Trout Stream flowing into Lake Winnipesaukee.

While the deed dates to 1815, the 1846 Brookside Cottage was once a boarding house - full of timeless character—thoughtfully maintained, comfortably appointed, with new linens & beds.

Stones throw to LAKE WINNI, Wolfboro, Brewster Beach and Melvin Village. In winter, ski resorts like Waterville Valley, Gunstock, and King Pine all close by.

6-bedroom property, with two entrances, connecting the home in the middle, two dedicated parking lots, and full access to the rear of the home. Guests also enjoy full access to a cozy outdoor fire pit and trout stream.

Other things to note
This historical 6 Bedroom Brookside Cottage is your typical New England sprawling 1815 homestead that has been added on through the centuries to connect to the Barn. Although the Barn is not included with your stay, The historical farm house is comprised of two separate two-story homes each with their own kitchen and living/dining spaces for families to have separate seclusion when preferred and gather together to enjoy and plan your meals in various dining spaces indoors and out! The front 2 Bedroom home and rear 4 Bedroom two story home are connected in the middle to provide one FUN multi family vacation.

We provide an introductory supply of toilet paper and paper towel along with all new luxurious linens and towels.
Please be sure to bring anything else to make your stay enjoyable. We have fully furnished kitchens so if you like to cook please don’t forget all of your favorite condiments, butter, cream coffee, tea ,sugar, salt and pepper, favorite meat and veggies for the grill, extra toilet paper, garbage bags , paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, body and laundry soap. Make yourself at home!

Please note only SINGLE PLY TOILET PAPER is allowed in the septic system.
Please do not flush anything other than single ply toilet paper - no paper towels nor wipes nor sanitary napkins nor tampons in the toilets please 🙏
