About This Listing
Our private one bedroom studio is perfect for a couple interested in exploring the upcountry and north shore areas of Maui. We are a few minutes from quaint Makawao town.
Private studio located in upcountry Maui, 10 minutes from north shore beaches, Kahului, and Paia town. Enjoy the cool breezes of upcountry living with it's own entrance, bathroom, and patio. The studio also has it's own kitchenette and also comes with wifi. We have space for surfboards and kite or windsurfing gear.
Some of the highlights of this space include the delightful outside patio (also private) where you can enjoy your meals. It borders 35 acres of pristine fields (lots of deer and birds), providing a peaceful and tranquil spot. We have a gas grill available that is perfect for an afternoon BBQ.
We recommend that you have a car although the Maui bus has a stop at the bottom of our street (two minute walk). Makawao town is a mile away and has some quaint shops and restaurants.
Quiet, small, and friendly. Only a couple minutes from Makawao town with a grocery around the corner. Lovely views with a huge field behind the house with hundreds of deer.
There is a bus stop at the end of our street however we do not recommend you rely on the bus as your sole means of transportation as the routes are limited. Please check the Maui bus website for more details ((website hidden))
Maximum occupancy is two persons. You can contact us anytime between 9am and 9pm if you have any questions or problems. We have laundry facilities but please call us to schedule a time to use them.
Simply amazing! We stayed a week in this studio! It's very clean, small but has all you need! We didn't get to meet Ben, but he made it easy for us to come and go.
The studio itself is clean, updated, bright, and well stocked! The bed is comfortable and has lots of pillows. The kitchenette is small, but has all you need! Silverware, plates, bowls, cups, pots, water pot, coffee pot, knives, microwave, mini fridge, toaster oven and more! He had tea and coffee filters there for us. The place also came with beach chairs, cooler, beach towels, and an umbrella! The bathroom was well stocked with good shampoo, conditioner, soap, shaving cream, first aid kit, alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, aloe lotion, cotton balls, qtips, blow dryer and more!! The highlight was the big zapper tennis racket! You will need this especially with lights on of you leave the door open at all. You get your own parking spot in the driveway too.
We loved the place and the area the home is located! The Bakery was amazing and we never had bad food!!
We would defiantly stay here again! So easy! So nice...and out of the hustle, in the beautiful country side!! Five stars for an inexpensive, nice, clean, and upscale place to stay!
Lovely little getaway in a nice neighborhood, close to bus stop. The place was clean, had a nice feel to it. Even though my daughter and I didn't get to meet Ben in person, we felt they went out of their way to make the place comfortable. The place was well stocked with a microwave, full bath, and outside eating area. The grill was clean and ready to go. The wifi was easily set up and accessed so we were able to use our computer. There was a short walk to the bus stop (but the bus does take a long time to get around so you may want to have a car). They have an off street parking space available for guest, which was nice. This was a great location that we'd definitely stay at again.
The Studio was perfect for what I needed, a place to sleep. The studio is located on a culdesac which was also a plus. It was about a mile from where my son and his family live, so it was geographically perfect. My son's home is about 700 square feet and would be too crowded for 3.5 people. There was a 'hiccup', but Ben addressed it immediately and said he would credit me $100 for the inconvenience and I thought that was a fair compensation. The studio is very close to Kula and Makawao which are beautiful little towns worth exploring.
Ben was perfect and friendly. Kindly showed us entire place. Place was very clean, all you can expect from equipped studio (nice, small kitchenette, bathroom etc.). Ben was always there for us if we needed to ask something. Thank you again Ben and Crystal.
We had a great time. The room was nicely furnished. Everything was very clean. The neighborhood was local, nothing touristy about it which is what we were looking for. Our home away from home on Maui - we'll definitely come back.
Very cosy space in a superb location. Away from the hustle and bustle, and yet in a very central location of the island. Both Ben and Crystal are very thoughtful. From the cute kitchenette, to providing beach accessories (towels, beach chairs, etc.) and also toilet accessories and large comfy bed waking up to a good view of the garden and hearing the sounds of chirping birds. Amazing. The free parking is a big perk too. Definitely beats the typical hotel-staying experience. A home away from home. Thank you for the hospitality. Both Me and my husband thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
