This is a great place for a surf trip to the North Shore or a romantic getaway on a secluded beach. It is in the best area in all of the North Shore! Right across from beautiful Keiki Beach where you can find sunrise shells, and see whales off-shore. Also steps away is Shark's Cove with some of the best snorkeling and sunsets in all of Hawaii! A short walk away is Pipeline, Ehukai Beach, Off the Wall, Backdoor and some of the most famous surfing beaches and best waves in the world. The Famous Waimea bay beach is a 10 minute walk where you can spend all day lounging on one of the most spectacular beaches on the island, or hike to and swim in the Waimea Falls waterfall.

The North Shore is very secluded but a short 10 minute drive or bus ride takes you to Haleiwa town where you can take a whale cruise, go shark diving, take surf lessons on a beginner surf break, rent mopeds and ATV's, or experience the north shore night life with restaurants, bars, shopping, art galleries, live music, and lots of shave ice! Turtle Bay Resort is a 15 minute drive to the north where you can dine in five star restaurants, watch a sunset, or party with world class music acts in Surfer Magazine's Bar.

If you are looking to escape the rat race and experience the real hawaii with beautiful uncrowded beaches, world class surfing, and real local Aloha spirit, then North Shore is what you are looking for!!
Lots of Beach Equipment, Snorkel fins and masks, Beach chairs, Beach Games and coolers to use!

Looking for quiet, respectful travelers. No pets. No drugs. No parties. The North Shore is a quiet and peaceful area, so please respect the neighbors. Quiet hours for the property are between 9 pm and 7 am.
Andy's place was great. Ideal location on the north shore. And his recommendations were on point and made the trip the much better. Would definitely recommend it to anyone and would definitely stay there again
Andy was a great host, very responsive, and gave us an incredibly thorough list of recommended spots to hit while we were on vacation! We had a wonderful time - and can easily recommend this place to other travelers.
The location of the house is PERFECT! A few mornings we walked across the street to Shark's Cove for some snorkeling, a couple other mornings we took the 10 minute drive to Turtle Bay to snorkel at a spot that's more protected from the waves. Foodland is a short walk down the street and they have practically everything you could want, and there are multiple food trucks within walking distance. The last time we visited the North Shore we stayed at Turtle Bay, and it felt SO FAR from everything we wanted to do, so this was a great change. Halei'wa is about 10 minutes away and has a bunch of restaurants.
The house itself is nice. It was clean and generally was as pictured. The furniture has changed a bit and the bedding is different, but it has absolutely everything you need to be comfortable. We cooked about a quarter of our meals there, which saved us a bundle compared to going out every night, and the kitchen had a decent selection of pots and pans and utensils and stuff. The high-pressure shower was GREAT and exactly what you want after you've been in the ocean all day. The bedrooms are pretty small by our standards (like most bedrooms in Hawai'i), but you won't be spending your time there anyway. The kitchen/dining/living room has a bunch of windows that you can open up and get a nice breeze flowing through to cool off.
Andy was a great host. The house was as described, in great shape, welcoming, and very clean. We had access to beach towels, chairs, and toys, but no boogie boards as listed in his listing, which was a bit disappointing. The backyard and little gazebo was very nice and fun to use at supper/breakfast. Andy was great- always willing to chat and suggest activities. He lives above the house, and we ran into him often. The place was across the street from a good snorkeling area, minutes from a grocery store, and right by many food trucks and surf board rental places. Great location. The house had 3 bedrooms, but we still found it to be slightly on the pricey side for 4 of us. Still a great place to stay- and fully equipped kitchen so it made it easy for us to cook our own meals.
Jo! Thanks for the nice review. I enjoyed meeting you guys as well! Apologies on the boogie boards. The last guests had broken them all so the housekeeping staff had just thrown them away. I have since taken it off the listing since they all seem to get broken on every stay and people don't replace them. Hope to see you again soon!
From the moment we booked Casa Keiki, Andy was very prompt in replying and very thorough with his information about the house, recommended places to eat and local highlights.
The house was very clean and comfortable and exactly as pictured and described. It is located close to popular surf beaches, supermarket, great eating out places and only a short drive into Haliewa.
We tried many of the recommended eating places and every one was great.
My two teenage sons surfed their dream North Shore every day, we explored the beautiful surrounding areas and felt like our short 6 night stay went by in the blink of an eye!!! It was sad to leave, but hopefully we will be back!
Andy was great throughout the entire process from booking -> stay. He was available for any questions and put together a comprehensive email of all the local food trucks and things to do in town.
The house was perfect- exactly as pictured and in a great location between Hale'iwa and Turtle Bay Resort... just minutes to World famous surf spots such as Pipeline, Sunset etc.
The house was clean and super comfortable.
My guests and I really enjoyed our stay -- it was tough to leave.
Andy was an amazing host. We simply could not fault his accommodation. We were a group of 6 with one person on a blow up mattress in the lounge. Plenty of room and comfortable sleeping. We were provided with 6xbath towels and 6xbeach towels.
The extensive list of tips tricks and things to do were so helpful! Every food place we went to was a recommendation of Andys and was awesome. Being so close to Foodland was super handy and right down the road from pipe! We had an amazing experience and would recommend Andys pad to anyone. Thanks again Andy!
