House - Private room · Cll Cacique, San Juan, 00913, Puerto Rico

Cuarto espacioso de una habitación con cama Queen Size, love seat, 2 butacas, mesas de noche, mesa, y amplio armario disponible para alquiler en una casa a 3 bloques de la playa, Ocean Park en San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The Space

Large private room with air condition and queen size bed.

House located 2-3 blocks from the Ocean Park Beach and the Barbosa (Ultimo Trolley) park. We have a spare room ready for single travelers or couples (gay or straight). It's a 3 bedroom house, and guests will have their own private room and semi-private bathroom.

They will share hallway bathroom, dining area, kitchen, living room, and patio. The property is located 2 blocks from the beach and Barbosa park, which has tennis courts, track and field, jogging area, playgrounds, basketball and baseball courts, soccer field and all in front of Ocean Park beach.

The house is located in a simple 10 minute driving range from the airport and Old San Juan and Condado by car and close to guest houses, restaurants, night life, stores, and entertainment. We prefer non-smokers, and guests must be honest, neat, organized and quiet. The room has one queen size bed, two chairs and tables.

I'll give you a run down on the house. I live in it alone. Sharing will be with myself and other guests. I do have a property management office in the house as well. Thus between 8:30am and 6pm there may be 1-2 people coming by. I also have 2 good dogs (a Weimaraner and a English Springer Spaniel), other than that, the house is for you to enjoy. DOG LOVERS A MUST. All common areas, including kitchen (refrigerator, oven, stove), dining room, TV room and patio we will share. The hallway bathroom will be shared with other guests. All I ask is that you be clean and considerate at all times. Buy your own food and enjoy your stay!

7% ROOM TAX - Please be aware that Puerto Rico Government requires all property owners to collect and pay a 7% room tax from room rates and fees (on stays of 90 days or less). Airbnb does not allow for this to be paid through them. Thus, I will send you an email and an invoice for it to be paid through PayPal or other means we agree on.

  • Great clean and nice room with air conditioning. Dogs are very friendly and host was welcoming. He took us to the grocery store on the first day so we knew where to go. Would stay here again if ever coming back.

  • I had an awesome stay at Alberto´s house... The house is clean, the dogs are quiet and is really near the beach... If I can visit Puerto Rico again I´ll certainly stay at Alberto´s.

  • My stay with Alberto was great, he was an excellent host. The house is very nice, clean and in a fun, central location right on the beach. Lots of things to do that are just a short walk away.

Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone looking to visit San Juan.

  • Stay was great, and you can't beat this price anywhere else in San Juan.

The house is a few blocks from Ocean Park Beach, a nice morning stroll.

The neighborhood isn't exactly the touristic part of San Juan, but it's minutes away from all the tourist places if you got your own car. The room had lots of tourist guidebooks and maps that helped me get started with my first days on the island.

Room was big, bed was comfy, had my own bathroom.

overall, a very pleasant stay, would definitely stay here away if back in San Juan.

  • We had a wonderful time and trip. Alberto as the host was amazing. Great spirit... He was very helpful and open to suggesting things to do and directions. There may have been a few technical glitches, but for the price and the location, you really can't beat this deal. I know that whenever we travel to San Juan, we now have a new friend in Alberto, and I'd recommend his location for anyone who really doesn't need to stay in the "Touristy" area of Condado or Old San Juan to check his location out.

Thank you again, Alberto (And your dogs, Tyson and Danya)..for a wonderful experience.

  • Alberto was great at communication. He had quick responses form the very beginning and throughout our day in trying to connect with him and check-in. Having the driveway to park the car was a great plus for us as we had a rental and most airbnbs did not have a place to park. He is right close to the beach and if you are a runner there are some safe places to run a few miles right out his front door. Grocery store is also just a 4 minute walk from his house. The room was large and comfy and Alberto was a nice host. FYI- in case you know nothing about PR like me, he speaks English perfect (not everyone does- but he does).

  • While working in Puerto Rico for the summer, I stayed here for four months, much longer than the typical guest. The house was clean and the host was pleasant and helpful. It is a short walk (about 300 meters) to the beach, which was not nearly as crowded as I expected. It is also relatively easy to get to restaurants from the house by car or walking. I found public transportation to be better than I expected (although I usually used my car). The only problem is that the DTOP website is not very good about informing you of the routes and bus stops. For that, I recommend going to one of the Urban Train stops, where detailed maps can be found.

  • We only stayed for one night at Alberto's place before going on a cruise, but it was great. It's only a short walk to the Ocean Park beach where we hung out most of the time. Later in the evening we walked about 10 - 15 minutes to a restaurant called 'Mangos' which was just perfect.

Alberto was a wonderful host. The room (and the whole house) was very clean and we felt right at home. In the morning he made us breakfast and later on in the day he even saved us a cab fare by taking us to our cruise port.

All in all it was great staying here. If you are coming to San Juan and need a comfortable and relaxing non-hotel experience, this is the place to go.

  • Me and my husband Logan stayed in Alberto's place for a week and we had a great time. We had a very busy schedule because I had friends from Brasil in the island and we knew some locals, so we always had things planned, for this reason we went in and out of the house many times, usually going to bed really late. Alberto made sure that we felt we were home and we made sure everything was locked when we came back late at night. He has two dogs that kind of adopted us while we were there. The room was clean and the ceiling fan was enough for most of the nights, except one that was a little more hot, but there is another fan in the room that worked great. I would definately go back to him when I go back to Puerto Rico. Ah, it's only 10 minuts from the Airport and 10 minuts to Old San Juan, you can't visit Puerto Rico without going there at least once to see the Old San Juan buildings, little shops, and the Fort "El Morro", this for itself need to have a special atencion, specially if you like photography, I tood many beautiful pictures there. Another thing you must do is take a Ferry (from Fajardo) to Culebra, that Island is the paradise in Earth, you can snorkel without much experience and see all the way through the water, that is crystal clear. Anyway, it was the best vacation in many years. Love it. Thanks Alberto for being so gentil!

Single, entrepreneur, beach lover, private and interested in meeting people and sharing my properties with those that know how to share in a clean, quiet and roommate-type of environment. Honesty is key for me and those around me. I don't like smokers nor loud mouths nor trashy people. I love to travel and have been all over Europe, some Latin American Countries, Egypt, Turkey and lots of US states. Lots more to investigate and visit. So far my favorite destination is Prague. I believe in spirituality, and a world reigned by love.
