Lives in Tasmania, Australia
Graham Swinsburg grew up in the Northern suburbs of Sydney where he carried out his apprenticeship as a carpenter and joiner. Upon completion he went traveling around Australia, where his interest grew in ecology and sustainable agricultural practices.
In 1989 Graham moved to Tasmania and started to establish a sustainable farm - Elvenhome. He co-founded the Deloraine Regional Bio-dynamics Group in 1991, which works towards promoting sound Bio-dynamic practices. To further his long term interest in Permaculture, he completed the Permaculture Design Course in 1996 at the Southern Cross Permaculture Institute located in South Gippsland, Victoria. Further studies led him to complete a Certificate IV Horticulture (Herbs, Medicinal Herbs and Essential Oils) in 1998. Graham has also lectured in "Intro to Permaculture" courses through Northern Tasmania Adult Education.
His passion and commitment is towards establishing a truly ecological sustainable way of living and sharing this with everyone.
