Geraldine was a good host, she was polite and responded quickly to all questions. The apartment was great, it was spacious, clean, and attractive. The neighborhood was pretty, a short walk to the subway station, and very close to several restaurants, food, and bars. Despite the distance to Manhattan, it was a nice break from the city and I don't regret it. I would certainly not hesitate to rent Geraldines apartment again!
Very well welcomed - flexible schedule, helpful, attentive. Well located to visit Manhattan. Thanks !
Very friendly, helpful and uncomplicated. Great location for public transport, and shopping.
Geraldine was a really good host and made our stay very enjoyable. Good sized apartment close to shops and the subway. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in this part of Brooklyn
This was my very first airbnb experience and I had never heard of airbnb prior to a week to my departure to New York with my family.A friend told me about it and I decided to give it a try instead of a hotel. This apartment was exactly as was described in the reviews, lovely neighborhood,a few minutes to the subway station to Manhattan and grocery shops, laundromat and even restaurants just a few meters away.Apartment itself is clean, can comfortably sleep 4 people and I was impressed by the set up,much different from a hotel but much more like a home.We felt very much at home, even my kids who usually keep to themselves when away from home could not tell the difference. Its very private you don't get to share anything and you've got your own entrance.Geraldine was an excellent host, graciously allowed us check in early and check out late, and had denica waiting on us at the house with the keys ,and she even brought in a few toys for the kids.I was in NY for 5 days and my wife and kids are already asking when we return again....lol..I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and would be staying here again if it's available.
The place was nice and clean. Pretty much as in the description. Geraldine was very welcoming, and gave us a thorough intro to the area. The taxi drivers were sometimes a bit lost when looking for the address because the location is in a rather residential area, but there are two subway stations nearby so cabs were not really necessary.
Geraldine was great! She made sure everything was going well with our needs. She had someone come to greet us when we arrived, and didn't make us feel lost. Everything was accessible, the wifi, the keys, etc... She provided coffee and tea in the morning. It's a great, cozy, room.
