I got the wonderful experience of staying At Gisele's place while in Fort Bragg. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the experience. The house is with in walking distance of the woodworking school, the culinary school. Many restaurants, a supermarket. Several corner stores AND THE NORTH COAST BREWERY! The house is in good shape and is set up with a nice sunny room in the front that is excellent for reading. There is a front porch with several chairs that makes it a good place to . There is a small library with some books about local flora. Gisele is also very happy to give recommendation on things to do. There is a dining area with a harvest table that is used for meals and social time. (The three young ladies did their home work there) The kitchen has a stove and microwave. The shower always has hot water (And I was sharing the house with three, 20 something young ladies. There is a porch out back that is nice to sit and enjoy the wonderful Fort Brag evenings. Gisele cares about her guests and during the time I was there a desk night showed up for my room. Also a stand alone shelf for the bathroom with each person having a shelf. The house is clean with sheets, blankets, and towels provided. So was laundry soap, shampoo and soap in the shower. I was never too cold or too warm.
Now I have not shared a house with others since I left college more than 35 years ago. Gisele is like that eclectic Aunt that you had that was so fun to visit for the summer when you were a kid.
I look forward to coming back again.
Gisele was a very friendly and accommodating hostess with such a nice energy. I would definitely stay with her again and I highly recommend her. She took time showing me around the Fort Bragg.
Regarding the accommodation, the location is perfect for attending Living Light, and also is only a short walk to the community centre, grocery store and other shops.
This house is perfect for the students of the Living Light Institute or CR Fine Furniture program, well situated in the center of town, but on a quiet street, just a short walk to Living Light and within a mile of the woodworking program at CR.
This house is comfortable, quiet with plenty of room to study or just spend a quiet afternoon reading or involved in some project.
Location is key when you are on foot or bicycle. Your walk will take you by a grocery store, mexican tiendas with beautiful exotic produce, a natural food store, a pharmacy and all the wonders of the Fort Bragg Historic district.
I am happy to help my guests get situated and Suzana was a wonderful guest. I was so pleased that she chose my home for her stay while she attended classes at the Living Light Culinary Arts Institute.
The location is perfect for attending Living Light, and also is only a short walk to the community centre, grocery store and other shops. Gisele was a wonderful host and helped me get myself oriented on my arrival so I could navigate on my own for the rest of my stay. I would absolutely stay here for future programs with the Raw Food School.
Location is key if you walking. There is no Inn or private room on airbnb that is closer to the living Light Institute.
This home is in a lovely neighborhood of older homes and so close to everything, a very pleasant place to walk or bike.
It is well situated, quiet with plenty of room for studying or just kicking back.

It is my goal to provide quality housing and and a peaceful learning environment for students, who come to study the arts, and my personal favorite, the art of preparing raw, vegan foods from the Living Light Culinary Arts Institute.
I am interested in meeting new people and I enjoy listening to the tales of students who come to visit our wonderful community of Fort Bragg and learn their craft. As a transit driver for the Mendocino Transit Authority, I spend a lot of time driving and observing and listening to the tales of Fort Bragg throughout my day.
I love to ride my bike, play in the garden, walk our incredible beaches and I am often involved in some sort of home or painting project.
I have spent time on the ocean as a commercial fishing boat owner and participated in several different fisheries
I also enjoy kayaking, hiking and walking along our beautiful ocean.
My moto: Participation rather than speculation.
