  • Amazing place!! The location is ideal-between downtown and the river areas--we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go in Bend and there are lovely parks and outdoor spots nearby. There is also a wonderful cafe/shop less than 5 minutes away that is open late, which was nice when we arrived in the evening. The property is beautifully restored and well maintained -- definitely the cleanest place we've stayed at yet - completely spotless. We would highly recommend booking this property-you will not be disappointed!

  • I rented Heylen's beautiful town home for my brother-in-law and his wife. I did not stay here, but got to spend some time in the beautiful exterior and interior. Heylen did an amazing restoration job.

Heylen herself was a great hostess and I would recommend renting from her!

  • The place was great and as advertised. It was clean, just as shown in the pictures.
The location was easy to find and easily within walking distance to everything we did. The bed was great and comfortable. We would stay here again next time!

  • This is the most unlivable place. You can really feel all craftsmanship that went into making this place feel like Bend. I will stay here every time I go back to Bend. Just loved it.

  • Heylen was fantastic! Very attentive and patient in answering all my questions. The Mill House did not disappoint. Pristine, clean, landscaped beautifully, quiet, and in walking distance to everything. The photos do it justice. It is that cute & lovely. Stayed with a friend. Plenty of room. Her only feedback would be to have a hair dryer on the premises, but other than that she was as crazy for it as I was. Loved all the work and pride they put into restoring this little house. Planning on coming through again later this year I hope! Made Bend and this little house new favorites of mine. Thank you Heylen!

  • Loved the place! Beautifully restored and decorated. The home has a rustic but cozy feel and was impeccably clean. Queen Bed is super comfortable...nice firm mattress w a pillow top. The kitchen was awesome!! Loved the gas stove and all of the extra amenities: coffee grinder, French press, salt & pepper grinders, basic oils & spices for cooking, etc.

Heylen was very friendly and flexible with our arrival time. She is willing to work with you in any way to make your stay as seamless as possible. The personalized welcome packet was an awesome extra touch & we appreciated all the info + recommendations.

Thanks Heylen! Would definitely recommend the Jefferson house to anyone going to bend!

  • This Airbnb sits at the very, tippy-top of my best Airbnbs list. Phenomenal location, this Airbnb situates the guest right near downtown Bend. Although the Jefferson House puts you in the heart of Bend, you'll hear nothing during the evenings. Each detail of the house, thought about by the owners, is fantastic.

We arrived late on a Friday evening. It was about 40 degrees in Bend. The house greeted us with a warm cozy feeling. Each nook and cranny was cleaned to the very highest standards; the amenities, fixtures and appliances were of worthy (website hidden) of all, if you like beer this is absolutely the best place to stay. We walked to Ten Barrel, Crux, Boneyard, Deschutes Brewery and Deschutes Pub.

  • My husband, 14 month-old daughter, and I loved our stay in this beautiful and cozy little home. It is exceptionally clean and well appointed. It is easy walking and biking distance to downtown Bend, bike paths, coffee shops (loved Strictly Organic and Thump), and breweries (10 Barrel, and the others downtown). We would highly recommend it.

  • I loved the Mill House! I almost don't want to leave a good review because it was so great I want to stay there every time I'm in Bend.
This little house is very very clean and simple in the best way. I was there for work and have never been so relaxed. I walked to Jackson's corner, enjoyed my coffee by the sunlit table in the kitchen, and walked to downtown and the Old Mill.

  • The Mill House (email hidden) to stay. I loved the look and feel of all of the exposed wood, and it's clear that Heylen takes excellent care of the place. It had everything I needed (though I don't need much), although I was surprised that there was no shampoo or conditioner. I didn't really mind, though, since I rarely use the stuff. The welcome package is also full of great recommendations of places to go and eat or have coffee. Definitely recommend this place!

My husband and I came through Bend on the way to somewhere else and fell in love immediately. We love taking advantage of living in (email hidden)... whether it is riding our bikes to 10 barrel, floating the river or going to a concert. Having grown up in rainy London I try to make the most of the sunshine. My husband restores homes and I'm a graphic designer, so it's awesome when we get to collaborate on awesome projects like this one!
