The craftsman bungalow was great. Just perfect and quiet. Reasonable walking distance to town.

This lovingly decorated and appointed home is in a great location, only 3 block walk to the Old Mill District. I did not rent a car as I was visiting my son and his girlfriend, so it was perfect for me to walk to shops, restaurants etc. The home is on a quiet street with great rear yard and all the comforts of home!!

We had the best time in Bend at this lovely Millhouse. It was clean, cozy and the shared outdoor space in the back was perfect for an outdoor lunch. It's walking distance from Jackson's Corner (a breakfast must) and plenty of restaurants/shops. When we didn't walk, we took the bikes almost everywhere.

Great location! One of our favorite things to do in Bend is stroll the neighborhoods looking at the fabulous homes and gardens. We were able to access the riverfront and Drake Park Historic district on our walks. This home is impeccably restored and we appreciated the attention to detail. The yard and garden is beautiful and private. It was a working vacation for us so I appreciated the breakfast nook area with great natural light for my laptop. The wifi worked great too. Television had more channels than any airbnb we have visited in Bend, we appreciated options. The sofa was not the most comfy but that was ok, it kept us from being couch potatoes!

The Jefferson Mill house is lovely, comfortable and the location is hard to beat. Its an easy walk to multiple places to eat, breweries and the grocery store. Heylen is quick to respond and very accommodating. We have stayed here twice and would likely again in the future.

My wife and I knew when we booked the Jefferson Millhouse that it would be an attractive place to stay while exploring Bend and the surrounding area, but it exceeded our expectations. This is a beautiful house that is very thoughtfully decorated and stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. There's custom woodwork in every room of the house, a clawfoot bathtub and beautiful fixtures in the bathroom, lots of natural light coming through windows all over the house, smart tvs hanging on the walls, and so many other thoughtful details. We've been fortunate enough to stay in a lot of great Airbnbs, but this is the one we've felt most comfortable in -- so much so that after a 17-mile RT overnight hike in the Three Sisters Wilderness, we were content to spend almost an entire day in the house nursing our sore legs and watching Netflix. In terms of location, it was ideal for us. We were in walking distance of some great restaurants, within a very short drive to downtown, and just half an hour or so away from the heart of Deschutes Forest. Be sure to check out Jackson's Corner for breakfast/lunch/dinner, great coffee and kombucha on tap. It's a 3-minute walk away if you take it nice and slow. Heylen was a great host who gave us all the info we needed and made herself reachable in case there was anything she could help us with. This is an awesome place to stay in Bend -- book it before it's too late!

My husband and I came through Bend on the way to somewhere else and fell in love immediately. Soon as we got married I moved here to join him; we recently welcomed a beautiful baby girl to our family and are so excited to bring her up in the outdoors.
We love taking advantage of living in such a beautiful place... whether it is riding our bikes around town, floating the river or going to a concert.

Having grown up in rainy London I try to make the most of the sunshine. My husband restores homes and I'm a graphic designer, so it's awesome when we get to collaborate on awesome projects like this one!
