What a lovely peaceful little place, perfect biking distance from so many great breweries and trails! It was so thoughtfully appointed and beautifully decorated, my son loved it and didn't want to leave. We really enjoyed our stay. The listing isn't lying though, you can hear the other duplex occupants walking around and flushing the toilet (unavoidable sounds, they weren't heavy footed) so if you are a country mouse bring ear plugs, and if you are a screamer another place would probably be better. ;) One of the best places to eat in town was literally around the corner, and it was centrally located for nearly everything on our Bend wishlist. We'd stay again in a heartbeat.

Super cute duplex in a residential area of Bend. The interior was cozy, clean, and nicely decorated. The pictures portrayed the charm of this place accurately. I would stay again, but wouldn't if I came again with lots of outdoor gear, as there's no where to really store anything.

Heylen's place is great! This was our second time here. Easy to find (clear instructions) and walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants and parks. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. The place is very clean and kept in perfect conditions. Not a single problem. Pictures are 100% accurate of what you'll find. We missed out our first night due to a delayed flight and Heylen was so nice she even got us a bottle of wine and a gift card to soften the blow! Another great experience!

My husband and I came through Bend on the way to somewhere else and fell in love immediately. Soon as we got married I moved here to join him; we recently welcomed a beautiful baby girl to our family and are so excited to bring her up in the outdoors.
We love taking advantage of living in such a beautiful place... whether it is riding our bikes around town, floating the river or going to a concert.

Having grown up in rainy London I try to make the most of the sunshine. My husband restores homes and I'm a graphic designer, so it's awesome when we get to collaborate on awesome projects like this one!
