The Space

A typical Andalusian house less than 40 meters to the beach shore.

3 terraces, one interior and the other in front of the house and another top terrace with incredible sea and Fuengirola views The house has high ceilings, lots os light due to the big tall windows.

The house was totally reformed a couple of years ago.

Only a few minuets walk to two supermarkets, bars and restaurtants. Padle and tenis courts and comunual gardens very close. Torrequebrada Golf only 3 kms away and Torrequebrada Casino too. Train station only a 7 minuets walk and bus stop practically infront of the house. Airport 15 kms away, very easy access. Puerto Marina about 10 kms. Puerto Marina is a fullon going night life all year round, discotecs, bars and restaurants, fantastic for an evening out.

You will find two big water parks, one in Torremolinos and one in Fuengirola, fantastic for the kids. Also Swelvo Marina you will find dolfins and sea lions. Tivoli an amusing attraction park, once agian fantastic for the kids. There is also a cable car up to the mountains where you have breathtaking views of all of the coast.

You can find any type of cusine you can imagine not too far from the house (car, train or bus). An international and spanish reastuaurnt in walking distance, a couple of minuets and also beach restaurant right in from of the house.

For beach lovers one of the many beaches along the coast is just across the road. For children or pets, there is an access tunnel just minuet walk from the house which goes under the road and comes right onto the beach.

Always there is parking availiable on the door step of the house.

The Internet access is by wifi now via satélite.

  • HOUSE VERY BEAUTIFUL. photos of the house can't show beauty of an interior completely. Details of an interior are picked up with taste. The kitchen is equipped with modern equipment: there is a toaster, a blender and even a juice extractor.
Each bedroom has own style. Each of us easily decided on a bedroom choice: the bedrooms for parents, for teenager, the nursery in which there were many children's toys and books.
Patio was pleasant to us in which it is very good to have dinner during a heat, and in the evening comfortably to talk with a glass of good wine. It is possible to have a good time in the living room listening music, playing on the piano, relaxing in the comfortable sofa.
Very good location - a beach across the road, the British supermarket of 3 minutes on foot, there are couple small shops with walking distance, near some bars and nice restaurant near Torre Muelle :-) On a tren it is possible to reach to near cities, the airport, Malaga etc.
On the car probably it is more comfortable, but we didn't rent a car and went by public transport that it is very comfortable too in Spain.

We brought with ourselves the best impressions. It is difficult to write about all. With pleasure we recommend this house for rest.

And "Los muchas gracias" of Carina for fine hollidays!

  • The house was perfect, it was 1 min. walk to the beach.
The house is nice and well equipped. The bathrooms are very nice, also the new kitchen is nice and very well equipped. We were pleased with unexpected things - the ventilators in the bedrooms, grill, beach umbrellas, tea, coffee, milk and sugar in the kitchen. We had enough privacy and space in the house, even if we were 9, all together. The children were happy in the child bedroom.
On the beach is a nice, friendly and cheap Restaurant Bar Playa Torremuelle. The supermarket is about 3 min. walk and train station of the Renfe is 8 min. walk. It was also easy to park the rented cars in front of the house (we can recommend good and cheap Vals Rent A Car). It is easy to get to Torremolinos and Malaga within few minutes. The Gibraltar, Granada and Ronda were about 1,5 hour drive from the house.
The beds were comfortable, and also it was nice cool temperature inside the house even if it was outside 31°C and more. The house seems to be very safe, and the neighborhood is quiet and very nice. We can only highly recommend this place.

  • Great house, with a lot of space and good facilities. There was no wifi during our stay, but the host is going to arrange that. The house is far away from the big hotel buildings of the costa. A small beach in 5 minutes and 3 simple places to have dinner. You do need a car at this location. There is a big road passing at 50 meters which causes quite some noise, so having dinner outside is not so relaxed.... After a while you get used to it.

  • La casa es comodísima y tiene de todo lo que puedes necesitar para pasar unas estupendas vacaciones. Carina ha sido realmente atenta y una anfitriona de 10.
Pasamos 5 días allí con unos amigos y la experiencia ha sido excelente.

  • Carina's house is really lovely, and more than met our expectations in terms of space and character. We exchanged a few friendly emails with Carina before the holiday and she was extremely helpful, even finding a way to accommodate our arrival in the middle of the night.

The house is a little out of the way but with a brilliant train service only 10 minutes away, and a couple of local supermarkets we managed fine without hiring a car. (Be warned, the taxi drivers don't know the name of the road, so use landmarks like Restaurante Paco instead).

You can cross over or under the road to get to the beach, only 1 minute from the house, and despite the graffiti (which is a great shame but demonstrates it really is a local's not a tourist beach, and all the more magical for it) the shallow, clear water and soft sand absolutely made our holiday. We were there in September and often had the beach to ourselves, certainly in the mornings.

For a relaxing, peaceful and private holiday, we would certainly recommend staying here, and stocking up on BBQ ingredients, wine and books. You really won't need much else!

  • We enjoyed our stay at Karina's house. It was very comfortable and well equipped. She provided all the necessary cots/baby beds for the children, and even books and toys. She gave us advice on sights, restaurants and supermarkets. The house is well placed, there is a beach across the street and some others in walking distance. We could walk to grocery stores and restaurants as well, and others were only a short drive away.

We had a great time and would rent her house again.

  • The house was great!
It's situed right on the beach and day trip to Cordoba, Mijas, Marbella and the other cities around can be done very easily.
The patio inside the house is calm and cool to enjoy the wonderful Costa del Sol weather.
Carina is very helpful. She indicated us great restaurant and amazing beaches.
We had a lovely stay and would recommend it to anyone who wants to relax with sunny holidays!

Hi. I am a single mum, born in Spain with australian parents. Lived in Spain most of my life. I went to school in Australia when I was 6 and then came back to Spain. Then went to english and spanish schools. Worked in London, Paris and Spain and lived in Peru too. I love traveling, adore Asia, specially the food.. would love to go back some day soon. At the moment I am working in my second hand book shop in Torremolinos and bringing up my 4 year old daugher. At the same time I am renting out my house and am enjoying it as I get to meet a variety of people from all over the world.
