About This Listing
Apartment for max 3 persons. Clean, recently renovated and quiet. Very close to the beach and all sort of shops (about 5 minutes walking).
This 1 bedroom apartment can host up to 3 people and it features a double bedroom, bathroom with shower, fully equipped kitchen. An extra single bed can be placed by the entrance room. The house is located on the ground floor on a little alley. In only 3 minutes walk you can reach the most panoramic part of Torre Annunziata, a city in the middle of the bay of Naples, right next to Pompeii. The apartment is right in the city center where all the main commodities shops and public transportation are at short walking distance.
This basic, but nice and clean accommodation is perfect for families traveling on a budget.
The Circumvesuviana station is within 8 minutes walk and takes to the main attractions of the province of Naples: Naples downtown, Herculaneum ruins and Vesuvio Crater, Pompeii, Sorrento coast. Torre Annunziata itself hosts one of the most magnificent examples of classic roman architecture: the Oplonti ruins- Villa di Poppea.
At only few minutes walking on the opposite direction there is the beach side, also attractive. Thermal spa founded by the romans are still there offering the chance of having muds treatments just like thousands of years ago (Terme Vesuviane), then farther ahead, bars on the beach, during summer open from morning till night and very popular as well.
This area is more of a local life experience and is very low budget compared to main tourist attractions of the area.
Thanks for Angela - she is the best! She was very fast with answers and very easy to deal. Everything that she wrote was true.
Moreover, she made upgrade for us, as apartment I was trying to rent was busy. Apartment was very convenient and quiet. You will find cold water in the frige and clean rooms.
Angela's sister Lucia gave us all information, that we ask - where restaurants, grocery, beach, etc.
It was pleasure to discover Pompei, Oplontis (just in few minutes walking from apartment), Ercolano and to stay in this snug house! Thanks!
Was very close to Pompeii and Vesuvius, but so are a lot of other places. We did not stay as long as booked here. The shower area was covered with several square feet of black mold. The bed was not clean and the sheets were extremely pilled. The kitchen was minimal-not even a cutting board or strainer.
The apartment is down an alley and very dark.
The internet did not appear to work at all after trying for several hours to use the little Vodaphone device.
Was a rough start to the trip, but we found nicer places later.
Angela's apartment is in a great central location to visit all the major attractions within the Naples area. Train stations and shopping facilities are all within easy walking distance. The apartment was as per the photos, clean, basic and comfortable even though it could do with better heating for the colder months. Angela and her family were friendly and very helpful and provided useful information and maps and even the personal touch of a small Christmas tree.
Dear Steven, thank your very much for your comment. I'm glad you liked the place. We're basically promoting that area, which is much more affordable and nice at the same time. I hope you had the chance to walk along the beach.
I will make sure there will be more heatings in the house.

Era una picola casa ma bene. E' facile per andare in treno, "Circumvesuvio."
Very accomendating and a good location for seeing that region.
Very nice apartment, clean, roomy and with working wi-fi. While the main hostess was out of town, others were able to take care of us and make sure we had what we needed. While the town didn't strike our fancy, it was a great jumping-off point for Pompeii and Vesuvius.
This charming apartment in Torre Annunziata is a very pleasant place. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating.
It is close to the Trecasa station on the Circumvesuvium RR. (It is rather distant from the Torre Annuziata station.
It is very convenient to take the train for a day-trip to Pompei.
The grotto at the end of the street is a pleasant and protected swimming area.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
As a bonus, if you are in town during the annual festival of Santa Maria delle Nevi in October, the whole town is decked out with lights with great food and a carnival atmoshphere.
Monica is the best host you can think of. She was very accomodating and extremely helpful. She arranged for her mother to be at home at my arrival. Later on she passed herself and provided all info I would need.
Beside this, there is a whole lot of info available (e.g. city maps of Venice and of Treviso, the Biennale guide etc.). Most of the time, I cooked at home and found all the kitchen supplies I needed. The appartement is clean, spacious, has a good WIFI connection and is very comfortable. It is very quiet, too, provided the windows are closed (the appartement is located next to the highly frequented "Terraglio" road).
The appartement is very close to a super market, to the train station (20 min to Venice) and there are nice bars and restaurants in the immediate neighbourhood. To make it short, highly recommended, if you seek a calm and probably more authentic place as a contrast to touristic Venice.

About the Host, Angela
Ciao, my name is Angela and I'm Italian. I've been working in tourism industry for 12 years and finally I realized that luxury is the freedom. I choose to travel slow and cheap, rather than fast and expensive. Good vibrations come from outside deluxe hotel rooms :)
