  • We were a group of 2 adults, 2 17-year-olds and a 21-year-old. Peter and JoJo were so hospitable and did everything they could to make us feel at home. Their rooms were spacious, immaculate and pretty, and the food was abundant and very well prepared. There was no shortage of snacks offered to the boys and we were nurtured so well! Peter is a font of information on local history and culture and made some great recommendations for local sites, even going so far as to take us on a private tour! You can't ask for better in a B&B!

  • This B and B is an ideal base for visitors who want to explore Westport and the surrounding area. The house is in the quiet countryside just outside of Westport with a view of Croagh Patrick. I was very impressed with my stay at Castle Reek View. The accommodation was at the level of a luxury hotel. My large room was well furnished and full of natural light, and the bed was new and completely comfortable (sadly, not alway the case). The huge en-suite bathroom was spotless. Peter and his wife Jo Jo were so generous and welcoming. They did everything possible to make me feel at home. Staying at the Castle Reek View was definitely a high point of my trip to Mayo.

  • Peter, Jojo and the rest of their family were so nice to us that we felt part of their family. They invited me and my two daughters for Christmas day and the girls were amazed by their kindness. When I think about them, I'm touch. The housing is very confortable. When I will go back to Ireland, for sure I will see them. Sean, Jaya and Samé from France

  • Peter and his wife are really amazing! We had a wonderful stay there. They made us feel very welcome and even invited us for dinner. In the evening we made a tour through Westport and surrounding sites.
The room was absolutely clean, and by far the most luxurious we stayed in on our trip.
    Thanks for this perfect stay!

  • Peter and JoJo made us very welcome and went out of their way to satisfy our every need. They were keen to show and tell us about their local area and the history attached to it. Their facilities were excellent and we'd be happy to recommend them to others.
It would be lovely also to meet up with them both one day in Australia, if that happened.
The (free) Irish Country Life Museum, which Peter recommended that we visit on our return trip, east to
Dublin, was very interesting and well worth a visit too.
