We had a beautiful week at the end of March 2015 in this lovely apartment. It worked perfectly for us (three generations), everybody had enough privacy and space.
The apartment is really comfortable and quiet; the view onto the lake and St. Moritz simply grandiose. We all felt at home immediately.
Anastasia already wrote all details about the location and facilities of the flat in her comment and we can fully subscribe everything (even if it took us rather 10 minutes to go to the Chantarella middle station in the Corviglia ski area). We really enjoyed the lovely way down to St. Moritz and back via the stairs!
Two other beautyful skiing areas (Corvatsch and Diavolezza/Lagalp) are also in close driving distance.
So we absolutely can recommend this location to everybody and would love to come back soon.
I stayed in the apartment for two weeks in January 2014 with a group of friends. This is probably the best place where I have ever stayed for skiing holidays. It’s perfect in two ways: great location and great quality of the apartment.
Depending on what you are looking for, the location can easily be the best in St Moritz. It is close to both the ski lifts (Chantarella middle station in the Corviglia ski area) and the city center.
To get to the ski lifts, you should walk uphill (it is a relatively flat road) for about 5 minutes. This is a nice panoramic walk. You can rent a locker at the ski lift station, so you do not have to carry your skis. (The alternative would be to go by car to a lower station in central St Moritz, but we have never done this because (a) we enjoyed the walk; (b) getting to Corviglia from the lower station in the city center takes longer).
To get to the city center, you can either drive for 2 minutes, walk along the road for 15-20 minutes or walk down the stairs for 5 minutes. The stairs take you to the central square of St Moritz and are clean and safe (we tried them even after a heavy snowstorm). Walking up the stairs from the city center takes longer but this is a good exercise (if you carry shopping bags, you should probably drive or get a taxi).
The apartment is very spacious (there were six people in our group, and everyone felt like there was a lot of space), furnished and decorated with taste (some furniture even is antique), the kitchen is fully equipped. There are two parking lots in the garage and a ski locker. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly - I used it all the time for work. You also get the beautiful view of the lake from most rooms.
Overall, this a great place to stay for a group of friends or for a family with kids. I would recommend it to my close friends and I would love to stay there again if I go to St Moritz.
