This was my second stay with Paul and Mary, and my husband's first. We loved being with them; they are kind and gracious and made us feel totally at home. The room itself is spacious and comfortable, with a sunny sitting area for breakfast (and a small fridge and microwave) and a large bathroom. The house is in a nice neighborhood with easy walking access both to beautiful hiking trails on Chipman Hill and to the village of Middlebury. A great home away from home!
Wonderful setting very close to downtown Middlebury. The accommodations were really comfortable and picturesque. They really paid attention to the details and the light breakfast was a nice touch.
Paul and Mary were very welcoming and kept us updated regarding the details of our visit. They were amazing hosts and went to great lengths to make us comfortable. They have a beautiful home and Middlebury is a great little town to visit.
The room was very large, clean, cozy, and with a great view. Paul provided coffee, tea, bagel and scones in our on our visit. There is nice sun porch that also contains a refrigerator and microwave. The bathroom adjoins the room and was large and very clean. We enjoyed their two friendly cats, Bailey and Hank, as well. The house is very convenient to downtown Middlebury, it is just minutes away by car. We would definitely stay with Paul again.
Although we never actually met our hosts as they had another commitment, our stay was wonderful. Our room was lovely with private bath, very comfortable bed, including a lovely extra porch area where we found a delicious offering of muffins, fruit, yogurt, French press coffee. A very welcoming experience... Thanks, Paul.
