The space

I live in a fantastic area in Paris : popular, trendy, lively, and with very good transportation links. Located in a private street, full of history, the flat is on the second floor in my mews house;

In this privileged place, this studio of 25 square meters has been ideally fitted out to welcome you with all the necessary comfort to optimize your Parisian stay. Freshly decorated, bright and independant, It is also very quiet, which means you might hear the birds singing in the morning or late afternoon, even though you are so close to transportation and the animated neighbourhood. The flat faces two private and planted gardens.

The studio offers a lounge place with a confortable sofa bed (160 x 200) suitable for two, a dining area, and a small equipped open kitchen. There is a private bathroom with toilettes, sink and a spacious shower (100 x 80).

The tiny kitchen is equiped with oven micro-waves, a nice fridge with a freezer, kettle and coffee machine, and of course all the necessary crockery and utensils. This will enable you to have light diners at home, and make you a nice cup of coffee, tea or herbal tea. And I will provide fresh bread every morning, so you can plan to start your day as you wish.
Linen and bathroom linen are provided. Hair dryer.
Wifi code.
Television with a big screen.

As I live downstairs, I shall of course be there to welcome you and be happy to help you book a restaurant for an amazing brunch or dinner, and give you various tips to make your stay truly enjoyable and special. Share “my” Paris!

Want to go out? Within five minutes’ walk, there are two tube stations (Belleville and Goncourt) that lead you directly either to the centre of Paris (Chatelet/Beaubourg/le Marais….) or to other interesting areas (Montmartre/Pigalle/Place de l’Etoile…). The nearby tube station République is also very convenient to reach almost every area in Paris. Alternatively, you might fancy taking a bus or renting a bicycle (Velib docking station nearby).

What to do close by? You have a great choice. Immediately close by, you can enjoy the local colourful markets, go to typical Chinese restaurants, have a drink or a special meal in a very French restaurant with a terrace, away from touristy places. You can also stroll around another nearby lively area, around rue Oberkampf, full of different bars and places to be, or go down to Canal Saint-Martin – a 6 min walk away - and enjoy small popular cafés, shops and nice restaurants for lovely daytime visits or a great evening atmosphere. You can even pick-nick along the Canal when the weather is fine.

Anyway, Paris is on my doorstep and it is all yours!

Minimum stay : 2 nights. Parking with extra fee might be available according to the dates of booking.

Last but not least, let me introduce myself: I worked for 20 years in movie production, and four years ago started a new life in home renovations and consultancy. I loved doing up my place so much that I decided I wanted to share my knowledge and interests with other people. And so, my home is just like me, a mixture of passions, flights of fancy and professional interests, that includes gardens of course !

Looking forward to meeting you here !

Neat and respectful hosts will always be welcome in my home.

nota : my little dogs just stay downstairs and will be happy to welcome you !

Due to Agnès’s wonderful directions, it was extremely easy to find her oasis. Everything about the experience of staying there exceeded my expectations. Agnès is well-versed in hosting guests and is extremely professional, reliable, trustworthy and kind. She is a unique creature who walks to the beat of a different drum but with a funky beat. All of her suggestions were wonderful and her flexibility was that of a gymnast (I appeared unexpectedly one hour too early). The space was clean and tidy and well-equipped. When can I move in?

Super host rating = 100% deserved. Agnès' garden house really was the perfectly central yet tranquil home base for our weekend in Paris. Can not overstate how helpful Agnès was in directing us towards great stores and restaurants nearby. We'd be back in a heartbeat if she wasn't upgrading to a countryside castle someday soon!

Our stay with Agnes was exceptional. Starting from providing us detailed directions to her apartment, to helping us with maps, guides and general information on Paris, she helped us in every step. The yellow flat was bright, cozy and warm and we felt right at home. The neighborhood is very lively and young, perfectly safe and abuzz, though once you are inside the apartment, you can hear none of it. The kitchen is well-stocked with utensils and basics, and Agnes provided us with breakfast (really helps when you have a long day of walking ahead of you). Tip: If you want a quieter evening, buy some wine and cheese from the nearby supermarket (suggested by Agnes), and you have a perfect way to relax in this super cute apartment :)

I booked the appartment for two friends. They have had a great time, loved the appartment and told me Agnes was very friendly and helpful with a lot of suggestions and walking routes to make the best out of their weekend. It was very easy to communicate with Agnes.

Agnes is an excellent host! The information that she patiently provided for us on getting around in Paris was priceless. The accommodations were suitable to our needs. It was a nice place to come "home" and get refreshing sleep. We didn't hear street noises inside the complex. Also, we enjoyed the different breads that were provided for our breakfast each morning. We'd be happy to come back again in the future. Merci, Agnes!

Agnés was very helpful. Especially her map is a highlight, where every BIG point is marked and explained. The district is a little bit of "urbanism" but it is secure and interesting to struggle around. We loved to stay there and enjoyed our trip. The flat was clean and well suited. Thank's again to Agnés!

Agnès was an exceptional host. She made us feel right at home and helped us with getting around Paris smoothly. She provided us with clear directions, maps, information about the city and top things to do. She walked us through everything and ensured we understood and knew where we were going. Great for a first time visitor or unfamiliar with the area. Location was perfect - away from busy tourist areas so we were able to see the best of Paris and close enough to walk or take the train to all tourist areas. We highly recommend staying with Agnès - she is the best!
