About This Listing
ENJOY A FLATETTE LIKE A GARDEN , IN THE HEART OF PARIS.
I live in a fantastic area in Paris : popular, trendy, lively, and with very good transportation links. Located in a private street, full of history, the flat is on the second floor in my mews house;
In this privileged place, this studio of 25 square meters has been ideally fitted out to welcome you with all the necessary comfort to optimize your Parisian stay. Freshly decorated, bright and independant, It is also very quiet, which means you might hear the birds singing in the morning or late afternoon, even though you are so close to transportation and the animated neighbourhood. The flat faces two private and planted gardens.
The studio offers a lounge place with a confortable sofa bed (160 x 200) suitable for two, a dining area, and a small equipped open kitchen. There is a private bathroom with toilettes, sink and a spacious shower (100 x 80).
The tiny kitchen is equiped with oven micro-waves, a nice fridge with a freezer, kettle and coffee machine, and of course all the necessary crockery and utensils. This will enable you to have light diners at home, and make you a nice cup of coffee, tea or herbal tea. And I will provide fresh bread every morning, so you can plan to start your day as you wish.
Linen and bathroom linen are provided. Hair dryer.
Television with a big screen.
As I live downstairs, I shall of course be there to welcome you and be happy to help you book a restaurant for an amazing brunch or dinner, and give you various tips to make your stay truly enjoyable and special. Share “my” Paris!
Want to go out? Within five minutes’ walk, there are two tube stations (Belleville and Goncourt) that lead you directly either to the centre of Paris (Chatelet/Beaubourg/le Marais….) or to other interesting areas (Montmartre/Pigalle/Place de l’Etoile…). The nearby tube station République is also very convenient to reach almost every area in Paris. Alternatively, you might fancy taking a bus or renting a bicycle (Velib docking station nearby).
What to do close by? You have a great choice. Immediately close by, you can enjoy the local colourful markets, go to typical Chinese restaurants, have a drink or a special meal in a very French restaurant with a terrace, away from touristy places. You can also stroll around another nearby lively area, around rue Oberkampf, full of different bars and places to be, or go down to Canal Saint-Martin – a 6 min walk away - and enjoy small popular cafés, shops and nice restaurants for lovely daytime visits or a great evening atmosphere. You can even pick-nick along the Canal when the weather is fine.
Anyway, Paris is on my doorstep and it is all yours!
Minimum stay : 2 nights. Parking with extra fee might be available according to the dates of booking.
Last but not least, let me introduce myself: I worked for 20 years in movie production, and four years ago started a new life in home renovations and consultancy. I loved doing up my place so much that I decided I wanted to share my knowledge and interests with other people. And so, my home is just like me, a mixture of passions, flights of fancy and professional interests, that includes gardens of course !
Looking forward to meeting you here !
Neat and respectful hosts will always be welcome in my home.
nota : my little dogs just stay downstairs and will be happy to welcome you !
No smoking allowed in my home.
You can also have a look at my two other adds on this website on my profile.
You will be independant as you will have your own key of my home.
I will be there to welcome you on arrival, and as I live downstairs, ready to share with you the advices et tips you wish.
No smoking inside my home, including the flatette. But it's of course possible in my private courtyard.
Thanks to turn off the lights of your place when you leave.
From Jul 15 - Aug 31, 2015 the minimum stay is 3 nights.
Staying in Agnes' flatette was a great choice for me. It is a roomy studio apartment with a clean bath and an small open kitchen. The flatette is located near metro station which was very convenience. We lived on the 3rd floor which was private, and you would meet Agnes and her two cuties puppies when you go out:) The supermarket is near the flat too, it's around 5 mins walk. You may do some crazy shopping daily:)
Agnes provided the great tips to us for sightseeing around Paris. We got the useful maps and information from her, she likes a Bonne Mamam which takes care of us everything, we feel warm like as a family:)
Thanks Agnes take care of us everything>3 I had a wonderful memory on my first Paris trip. I highly recommend staying with her. Hope to see you again(^___^) Love you, Agnes!!!
Staying in Agnes' flatette was a great choice for me. It is a rather roomy studio apartment with a full bath and a small kitchen ( the only thing missing is a stove). The decor is whimsical and feels like Alice in Wonderland or like being a Smurf. Everywhere you look, there is something there that will make you smile. The flatette is on the 3rd floor of Agnes' home. So it is private, but when you come and go, you may run into Agnes or her 2 cute dogs. Agnes was a magnificent host. She provided me with so much information about Paris, that it made it very easy for me to get around confidently. I was travelling by myself and don't speak French, so this was most helpful. She gave me lots of information once I booked which also helped me pre-plan my visit. She was helpful in booking and printing tickets, boarding pass. I was able to have breakfast everyday at home, before going out to explore the city. There is a supermarket very close by in case you want to get some snacks for the flatette. The street itself is a busy one, but once you step into the courtyard you are transported to a very tranquil garden like atmosphere. i thoroughly enjoyed my time at Agnes' and would return ina heartbeat! I highly reccommend staying with her. Merci beaucoup Agnes!!
My daughter and I stayed inAgnes' flatette for 2 nights and had a wonderful stay. Agnes was there to meet us, and provided us w/ a great deal of information on how to get around the city, including maps of the metro and many local restaurants and places to see. She had also provided many website links for area attractions and tours. Anges made our stay very easy. Her flatette is exactly as shown: very clean, warm and inviting. We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay in Paris. We enjoyed the fresh bread each am, and the wonderful teas she provided. I especially appreciated the essential oils to put in my tea, to combat my nagging cold and cough. Agnes was a great nurse! :)
A bientôt Agnès.
La comodidad fue total y tal cual como lo vimos en enuncio. Agnes esta en cada detalle y sus consejos y explicaciones hicieron nuestra estadia perfecta!!! Super recomendable. Queremos volver! Graciassss
