About this listing
Very charming room in a peaceful environment - in my 103 m2 apartment in Copenhagen Ø .
The room has an amazing atmosphere with old charming brickwall's and antic furniture - the room i suitiable for 1-2 person , it has an double bed , dresser , bookshelf , table and chair . There is of course fully access to use of kitchen , livingroom , bedroom/spa and small charming balcony .
The apartment is on the first floor .
The area I live in , is one of Copenhagen's most upmarket areas to live in , has a great combination of Cafe's , restaurants and shopping opportunities .
It also has the great luxury of Fælledparken - which is one of Copenhagen's biggest Parks ( if not the biggest ) . Its only about 50 m. from the apartment . Then there is the beautiful view bye the Lakes , which is just on the oppersite side of Fælledparken - same distance .
Great public transportation opportunity to get easy and safe around - but I would definatdly recommend the use of a bicycle , the city is basically made for cruising on a bike - which make it more of an Copenhagen cultural experience .
I look forward to meet you , and I surely hope that you will enjoy your stay at my apartment .
-No outdoor shoes inside the apartment .
-Smoking is only allowed on French Balcony .
-Clean your own dishes (or) use dishwasher .
-Using and filling up the Spa - under observation .
-Mutual respect .
-Respect our neighbors .
-Make yourself at home .
Tamey's apartment is a lush little haven within touching distance of Copenhagen centre, it looks just as good as the pictures and the room is really cozy and comfortable.
We didn't meet Tamey till the day after we arrived but he contacted me in advance and was available on the phone to make sure we had everything we needed. When we caught up with him in the morning we had a good chat over some coffee while he gave us the lowdown on all the places to visit in town. Such a sweet guy and a thoughtful host!
Lastly, having the bikes available is an amazing idea, it just makes getting into town and sightseeing an absolute breeze.
Thanks for having us Tamey!
It was our pleasure to stay in Tamey's house. he is a very adorable and passionate guy. We've had memorable moments in Denmark at his place. He even bought us some breakfast on our first day in Denmark. As we have some big luggage, he helped us to carry all the luggage to the train station with his bike. We will definitely go to his apartment the next time we visit Denmark!
I agree with prior comments that the best of Tamey´s apartment is precisely “Tamey” :-)
Much can be said about the place: it´s cozy, bright, clean, with a modern and beautiful restoration, spacious bedroom with comfortable bed… The bikes he lent to us were perfect to visit Copenhagen; biking was fun and allowed us to know every beautiful corner of the city.
…but much more can be said about Tamey. He´s is also cozy, with a bright smile, open-minded, positive, with a pure heart willing to love and be loved. He shared with us his “map of treasures” and recommended us lots of places to visit, eat, drink... to blend in with the local people. In fact, we met him later by chance in some of these places, hehehe. We fondly remember our first chatting in the kitchen, with a cup of tea, talking about travels, people, coincidences, life… like we were good friends. Ultimately, we like to think that´s exactly what we became. I specially remember one thing he said: “you´re not staying in my home, WE ´re staying in OUR home”.
Lovely host… if you want a wonderful stay as well as to live a beautiful personal experience in Copenhagen, that´s your place!
Tamey is the absolute BEST host imaginable! I can't possibly say enough great things about him. He has a gentle spirit that truly has to be experienced in person; I missed him from the second I left for the next city in my amazing European trip. He embodies everything that makes Copenhagen a very special place--and so much more. He *loves* hearing about what you've seen and what you've learned, as well; he loves studying people--but in a really good way. He's incredibly positive and supportive! If you're staying in Copenhagen, you really need to stay with Tamey. :)
His place is wonderful, too. It's at a comfortable distance from Copenhagen's center (a 10-minute bike ride--and I had two bikes of his to choose to borrow for my three nights there!), and it's very *quiet*, which is extremely rare for locations within large European cities.
You have way more than enough room, and the bathroom and shower are wonderful. But, again, the best part is Tamey (pronounced like "Jamie" but with a T) himself! He's the best!!
It was my first air-bnb experience and it was a good one. Tamey was open, very friendly and helpful and he gave us tips for the city. It was cool to stay in a typical kopenhagen flat with such a nice guy!
Perfect! Tamey was a great host. The contact was very easy and uncomplicated. He welcomes us friendly and gave us some good informations about the city. The flat is very beautyful decorated and the bikes are perfect to see the city.
Thanks you very much-we will come back:)
