Built in the 1970's this was the tallest standing building for over 10 years. The same architects built the Sears Towers & Freedom Towers. This elegant tree covered area, surrounded by quant parks, captures the urban Pacific Northwest perfectly.
This 600 square foot suite has a fully stocked kitchen, with complimentary local coffee and wine. The modern deco includes a comfortable oversized futon and all the furnishing you would need during your trip. The covered balcony and secured entrance make this the perfect alternative to the Hilton with newly renovated interior, stainless steel appliances and granite.
Guests stay by themselves in this one bedroom with a queen bed, and fully equipped bathroom. The restaurants and food carts in the area are perfect for any palate.
Enjoy the pool, hot tub, and new sauna. There is also a nice fire pit, courtyard and BBQ for cooking or entertaining. Also included is free on-site laundry.
I am easily accessible and happy to accommodate.
The neighborhood has 4 pedestrian parks with beautiful fountains and artwork. Urban planning aficionados travel from around the world to see this area. The Keller Auditorium and Waterfront park are within two blocks, and all of downtown is accessible with a 7 min rail ride or 10 minute walk about 7 blocks.
The MAX and Streetcar, Portland's Light Rail, are easily accessible from the front door. Take a cab anywhere in portland for less than $10.
I have three bikes available as well.

A beautiful, bright, and modern apartment, located close to downtown and embankment. Just could be a little cleaner, but anyway it didn't blemish the overall impression from our stay.
As for Chris, he was very accommodating and prompt on reply. Highly recommend this place to everyone
Awesome stay! Chris was quick to respond to any questions I had and was very accommodating. The place was great; clean, lots of light and felt very safe in the neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again.
Bright, clean, convenient. Chris was very flexible too about letting me drop off my luggage a little early. There's a large pod of food carts a block or so west, with a few carts open late enough for dinner. And it was so easy to hop the streetcar to downtown.
Awesome place to stay and Chris was very prompt and accommodating. As others have said, it's not in a super lively neighborhood itself but is just a couple of blocks away from lots of great food and the light rail and buses run right in front as well as down the street so you have plenty of options for cheap transportation.
The only possible critiques I could give: toilet paper was pretty much out when we got there (one session left) and no extra could be found in any cupboards. Also, the sink had some sort of chicken or beef left over in the drain filter from someone cooking. Neither of these were a big deal, but I always prefer to mention the thoughts I had throughout my stay.
Overall, I highly recommend and would stay there again.
Our stay in Portland was great. Good location. Prompt response.
A beautiful, clean place for an AMAZING price! Also, this location is unbeatable for this price. The famous Portland StreetCar picks up right in front of the building. It's just $1 or $2 to ride all-day and ride it up to the Pearl District or beautiful 23rd St. Also this place has plenty of natural light coming in the living room and bedroom, with an outdoor balcony off the living room. The owner was easy to communicate with so very pleasant. Stay Here!
Chris was willing to work with our schedule and was very helpful. However there wasnt any toilet paper in the apartment. Also there arent any curtains in the living room and the apartment looks straight Across to an office building.
But as for the landlord/ caretaker of the apartment, He was always available to come by if need be. I would definately stay again. Very private floor with only one set of loud neighbors.- which is hard to come by.
The pad was sweet! Very clean and comfortable, with a great view. Chris was a fabulous host with great communication throughout the trip and was quick to respond with recommendations for our every need. Here never steered us wrong and should we make our way to Portland again I would definitely like to stay at SW Harrison again, the location was perfect! Skaggs was dope!
Checking in was a tiny bit of a confusing process as well as getting the access code for the Wi-Fi internet (My suggestion would be to just have the Network ID and password posted on the Desk in the Apartment) but once I was all checked and up and running everything was great. The apartment was great and I had a great time. Chris is extremely good at getting back with your text messages and flexible with arrival times as I was running a little late with traffic. I would definitely recommend this Apartment to anyone who wants an alternative to a corporate chain hotel. I'll be looking into Chris's place again next time I stay in Portland!
Very nice apartment, modern, bright, and well equipped. Location is very convenient to OHSU, PSU, and downtown. Not in a very lively neighborhood such as the Pearl District or 23st St area but has good public transport options. Chris is extremely quick in his communications and was able to accommodate me even though I put in a last minute reservation request. All the arrangements for checking in, etc. were flawless. Highly recommended!
