About This Listing
Built in the 1970's this was the tallest standing building for over 10 years. The same architects built the Sears Towers & Freedom Towers. This elegant tree covered area, surrounded by quant parks, captures the urban Pacific Northwest perfectly.
This 600 square foot suite has a fully stocked kitchen, with complimentary local coffee and wine. The modern deco includes a comfortable oversized futon and all the furnishing you would need during your trip. The covered balcony and secured entrance make this the perfect alternative to the Hilton with newly renovated interior, stainless steel appliances and granite.
Guests stay by themselves in this one bedroom with a queen bed, and fully equipped bathroom. The restaurants and food carts in the area are perfect for any palate.
Enjoy the pool, hot tub, and new sauna. There is also a nice fire pit, courtyard and BBQ for cooking or entertaining. Also included is free on-site laundry.
Interaction with Guests
I am easily accessible and happy to accommodate.
The neighborhood has 4 pedestrian parks with beautiful fountains and artwork. Urban planning aficionados travel from around the world to see this area. The Keller Auditorium and Waterfront park are within two blocks, and all of downtown is accessible with a 7 min rail ride or 10 minute walk about 7 blocks.
The MAX and Streetcar, Portland's Light Rail, are easily accessible from the front door. Take a cab anywhere in portland for less than $10.
Treat my place as your own. Please no smoking and no pets. Thanks.
Everything was as advertised and I'd stay here again. The location is great and the internet speed is solid.
This place was perfect! It's in an awesome apartment tower, very well maintained and has all the extras you could want, pool, hot tub, etc. Chris was great, he let us in on time the place was ready to go when we got there. Great place, great host, great time, overall a solid Airbnb.
It was our first time to Portland, and Chris's home was walking distance to most things on the to do list (Rogue, Powell's, Saturday market / waterfront, Voodoo donuts, Departures, Tabor, other food trucks, etc.). Not having a car wasn't an issue because it was an easy uber ride away to places in the southeast, Pearl, or the rose garden. The listing is as shown in the pictures. Check-in and check-out was a simple process.
Booking and check in process very smooth. The unit can have more character.
This was the worst airbnb experience with this property. This condo was DIRTY DIRTY DiRTY. Not professionally cleaned, garbage from previous renters, no towels, no bathroom necessities, just messy and unorganized. The owner was unresponsive and didn't seem to care about quality. The owner also tried to add an extra person charge to my bill when he noticed 2 wine glasses and 2 towels used and a bottle of "her perfume" he says. I used both glasses myself, used two towels after I found them in a messy closet, and the Perfume was from the garbage from previous renter. Again, dirty condo and was not professionally cleaned even though renters pay for cleaning. I was alone the whole time. I would NOT recommend this condo.
Booked last minute (same day) and Chris was very accommodating to let me into the building late at night. Very clean, exactly as shown in pictures.
