We really enjoyed this little house in Downtown Bend. Location was excellent, place was very nice, and price was great. Seth and Heylen were accommodating with arrival time. We enjoyed the bikes, and attention to detail with interior and exterior landscaping. Neighborhood is varied; bungalows, $1m residences, and shacks, as you would expect in Downtown Bend. We went to Jacksons Corner (2 blocks away) for meals every day. We highly recommend!
Perfection is difficult to write about, but the Restored Mill House was perfect in every way. Impeccably restored, beautifully appointed. Everything we could have wanted was there. Our first Airbnb experience has proven ever greater than we expected. Our hosts were attentive and welcoming - delightful, actutally. Their enthusiasm about the work they put into their Mill House restoration project was apparent the minute we walked into the property and became even more appreciated as our week there went on. If you are visiting Bend, OR -- don't pass up the Mill House. If it is not available when you are visiting -- I suggest changing yur travel plans to stay there. Thanks. Phyllis & Marc.
This was an amazing place to stay. It was quiet, beautifully decorated, very clean, and very well appointed. Clearly a lot of love and care has gone into this home, and we really enjoyed staying there. The Mill house was also within walking distance of downtown, and to some really great breakfast/brunch/dinner places. We loved it so much we stayed in one night just to spend more time in the home. Heylen had excellent communication and we felt very well taken care of. Thanks guys!
Heylen's home is beautiful, warm, and inviting. The neighborhood is perfect for car-lessly exploring the greatest aspects of Bend; the river walk, breweries, generous local people, and fabulous food (even in the cold of winter, everyone in the area is out and about and helpful). After four days we were still noticing the amazing details in the restoration of this cool little home.
Very nice place, just like the last time we stayed here. Good location near downtown.

About the Host, Heylen
My husband and I came through Bend on the way to somewhere else and fell in love immediately. We love taking advantage of living in such a beautiful place... whether it is riding our bikes to 10 barrel, floating the river or going to a concert.
Having grown up in rainy London I try to make the most of the sunshine. My husband restores homes and I'm a graphic designer, so it's awesome when we get to collaborate on awesome projects like this one!
