  • Very cute, comfortable, and quiet space. I felt very welcomed. The place is located a half mile from good food and coffee, so it's all walkable. If I go to Bend again, I'll look to stay here first!

  • Great place, fit and finish are even more amazing than the photos show. A charming little college well within walking distance of all the fun stuff you're interested in within Bend. Rode directly to Phil's trailhead and had a blast of a weekend.

  • My wife and I had a lovely week in Bend. The house is very comfortable. Just as advertised. Painstakingly restored little arts and crafts bungalow in an older area of Bend. Great restaurant around the corner. Walking distance to the downtown and parks along the river.
Heylen was a thughtful hostess and met us when we arrived to show us around the house.
The kitchen is well appointed. There is a table inside for four; also patio seating for 4 or more.

  • Heylen proved to be a very welcoming host. Her place is tastefully decorated, respectful of the Bend history and feel. A restoration tour de force. I'll be staying again next time I'm in town!

  • Heylen's cottage house was tidy, tasteful, well-located, and wonderfully inviting. I've stayed at about 30 airbnb's, and this would rank as one of my two favorites. Plus, Heylen and Seth were incredibly helpful and friendly.

  • We loved the Jefferson Millhouse! Thank you Heylen for such a beautiful place to stay and making our visit so easy. This location cannot be beat. Perfect for our little family with a 4.5 y.o and 18 month old. Easy walking distance to coffee and great food. Easy biking distance to EVERYTHING else, the river, old town, Pilot Butte, playgrounds and trails. The home is beautiful, small, but comfortable. Makes great use of the small space and provides everything you need.
We completely fell in LOVE with Bend and can't wait to come back!
    Thanks so much for everything.

  • Great place in an ideal location in Bend - we walked to downtown, the Mill District, and pretty much everywhere else. The house was very comfortable, clean and a nice mix of modern/rustic - definitely recommend!

  • Beautifully restored, the Mill house is an easy walk to town, the trails along the river, the west side and the old mill. It's location is perfect. The owners put tremendous effort into making our stay comfortable. I was really impressed with how the kitchen is outfitted with everything you need. Felt like home.

My husband and I came through Bend on the way to somewhere else and fell in love immediately. We love taking advantage of living in such a beautiful place... whether it is riding our bikes to 10 barrel, floating the river or going to a concert. Having grown up in rainy London I try to make the most of the sunshine. My husband restores homes and I'm a graphic designer, so it's awesome when we get to collaborate on awesome projects like this one!
