Clean and comfortable room, beautiful picturesque setting, warm and welcoming host!
We had a wonderful stay at Susan's guest suite!!
The suite was super clean and very comfortable. The small kitchenette was perfect for our extended weekend stay. We prepared a simple breakfast every morning, brewed up some coffee, and lounged in the recliners inside or around the firepit outside. The bed was super comfy and the plush covers were very cozy.
We took full advantage of the grounds, sipping wine or coffee around the firepit. We even used the grill to prepare lunch, and ate leisurely around the picnic table.
Her friendly dog, Chase, greeted us in the courtyard.
Susan's home is very accessible to all the wineries in Napa, especially along the Silverado Trail. It was remote enough to have privacy, but close enough to where it was a quick ride into town.
If you're looking for a quiet getaway, and don't want to be cooped up in a little hotel room, I highly recommend this guest suite!
Sue has created a comfortable and peaceful retreat. Very clean and warm décor. The Coombsville best kept secret is a great proximity to downtown Napa. I find it easier to get to from the Bay Area than farther up the Napa Valley.
Our stay at "Le Chanceux" made US feel like the lucky ones!
It was perfect in every way... the suite was impeccable, the
views from every window, garden & patio, friendly,
warm-hearted Susan and Chance... Our only problem?...
Our stay was too short ! Looking forward to our next
"chance" to come back :o) M & K
We had such a wonderful stay at Sue's. Her place is conveniently located near Napa's town center. The apartment is decorated beautifully with many thoughtful touches like bath salts, robes, and coffee and useful things like scissors and a wine opener. She has two cats and a dog, both friendly who must have a great life on her small vineyard. We would definitely stay again. Note: the photos make the bed look small, but it's a queen not a full.
If you are looking for the perfect getaway in Napa, look no further and book with Susan! My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights over Labor Day weekend as an escape from the city/ to celebrate my birthday. The detached guest suite was absolutely stunning, we felt like we were in a Pinterest board!! It was stocked with everything you would need for a weekend trip. I took full advantage of the luxurious bath products that were available followed by some of the best sleep I've gotten in a while as the bed is like a cloud! My boyfriend appreciated the wifi and tv in the bedroom as his own form of relaxation. Not to mention the rest of her property is gorgeous complete with a bunch of outdoor seating areas, a rustic tree swing, cute garden (Susan also sent me home with a bag of my favorite tomatoes!) and beautiful grape vines. All of this and it is located less than 10 mins to downtown Napa. We even rode the bikes she has available into town for some frozen yogurt.
Wonderful accommodations in a picturesque setting. Oh and Chase, the 'guard dog', was our favorite part of the whole trip. The most cuddly, loving companion on the property! We cannot wait to go back!
