Very nice and homey cabin in wonderful nature, only 45 minutes drive from Reykjavík. The cottage is located close to lake Meðalfellsvatn which is a beautiful lake with great fishing conditions.

If the dates you prefer are booked already just contact me because sometimes I block the house for myself and it could be available.

Kjós, Iceland

The house is located in a quiet private holiday home area. It is at the end of the area, so privacy is guaranteed, on the other side of the fence Icelandic horses play around. They come from time to time from the valley where they live.

The famous salmon river "Laxá í Kjós", where Prince Charles, Caroline from Monaco and Kevin Costner fished for salmon is just a 5 minutes drive away from the house.

A climbing area called "Valshamrar" is just a 5 minutes walk away.

There is a cafe by the lake where you can have some pizza or burgers. It has a very nice view over the lake and they have great pancakes. It also sells some groceries.
