It was such a pleasure to stay with Alicia, she is very warm and friendly, checking in to make sure I was comfortable or I needed anything else. The apartment is clean and comfortable, styled well, beach vibe. The room was perfect, very clean, well styled and fresh feeling with a view of the ocean. I can't rave more about how comfy the bed and linens were...a dream! Sonny is the sweetest dog, so friendly and happy to see you. Perfect location right by the ocean I went running every day. Such a nice escape! Thanks, Alicia and Sonny! X
Dee is a great host - the apartment is excellent and clean in a good safe location - highly recommended - thank you Rob
Dee's place is awesome! The location is great, room is spacious and clean, the house is comfortable. Sonny "the dog" is meek and playful. She is a perfect hostess, gentle and caring. I left, wanting to be coming. I would return for sure. Thanks for the unique experience!
This was our first Airbnb experience. Hosts were very helpful and knowledgeable of the area and surroundings. We probably should of used their help a little more.
I have been coming to MB for 29 years and know the area well. Dee's location is great for access to the beach, dining and quick access to LAX. The room and bathroom were clean and the stay was unbelievably quite. Sonny (dog) was well behaved and hardly let out a peep during my stay. The room faces the ocean and has a nice breeze all day long. I didn't spend much time in the apartment during my stay but when I did enter, Dee and Greg always were up for a short visit. My only complaint is parking. I was well aware of the parking regulations in the area and had to park a short walk from the apartment each night. If you just want to stay in the area, almost no need to get a car. Uber, Lyft and the taxi are available. This was my first Airbnb stay. In the past, I have stayed in hotels and VBRO's. I'll be booking again. SDB
Dee was a friendly and resourceful host, with lots of useful tips about the area. As she had only just recently moved into her new condo, some of the photos were out dated. However, the new place was freshly remodeled, it was brand new and very clean. The location was super convenient being only 3 blocks to the beach.
Dee was such an amazing host for my stay, really wish I could have stayed longer! Everything was very clean and well kept. Easy walk a few blocks to the beach and plenty of local places to eat, drink and be merry!

About the Host, Alicia
Hola!! I'm a beach girl who loves the ocean, salty hair and sand in my toes. I spent a lot of time traveling while I was growing up and have planted my roots back to beautiful Southern California for over 10 years. I live on the beach and enjoy the blessings of mother earth in the outdoors everyday. You can say I'm always chasing Summer.
My life passions revolve around, staying active with yoga/ Crossfit, music, salsa dancing, creating, surrounding myself with uplifting/positive people and helping others. I own my own business, so I'm all about traveling to unknown places..Oh yeah, and I'm darn good in the kitchen.
I love trying new foods, living the beach life, surfing, striking up conversations with new people in far away places or finding a new thrill seeking adventure. I also can enjoy a quiet night at home with a good book and an even better bottle of wine. When it comes to books, I've got a wide range I like to pick from. Summer 2014 reads: The 4 Hour Body, A Complaint Free World and Who Moved My Cheese?
Music has always been a part of my life, you'll usually find anything from Buena Vista Social Club to Tiesto on my iPod. I love attending music festivals in any new city I travel to.
I rent my beach bungalow in Manhattan Beach throughout the year while I'm traveling so I know how to be a great guest in someone else's home. I will treat your space as it is my own.
