If you have read any of the reviews regarding the ceiling height let me just clarify for you what to expect. There is a support beam which runs the entire length of the apartment that has a clearance of 6 ft in height. We purposely designed the apartment so you would avoid the beam once through the entrance. The rest of the apartment has an adequate 8 ft. ceiling height. Please don't let this discourage your decision. It is truly not a big deal.
My husband and I have been married since 1998 and have 2 amazing boys. We were determined to stay in "the city" to raise our family so we could take advantage of all that New York has to offer. We also love to travel and when we do, we try and stay in small local places so we can experience the real feel of the surroundings. This is also what we are trying to offer our visitors when they come to Greenpoint.
