  • Sarah and Andras' house is gorgeous! The pictures do not do it justice! We had a great snowy weekend at their place...conveniently located within driving distance of Woodstock, New Paltz, and Kingston. The kitchen was stocked to the nines with vintage bowls, glasses, professional grade knives....perfect to make a wonderful dinner and sit in front of their amazing fireplace! They were also very accommodating hosts; providing a flexible check in and check out time and even gave me a call to help when I was struggling with the fireplace. We hope to go back soon!

  • We absolutely loved staying in this sweet house. In fact, our daughter who is two and a half, has requested to return to "Huwlee" on an hourly basis since we left! The kitchen is great fun to cook in, especially with the morning sun streaming in. The house is cosy, warm, a really nice, comfortable place to be. The garden is just big enough that our little girl felt like she was exploring a huge area and we felt comfortable that she couldn't go too far.
    We definitely plan on returning.

  • It's a terrific kitchen for cooking... which was my favorite thing about the house. There was a fun local bar within walking distance. Driving wise it's centrally located to the Catskills, Saugerties, and my favorite, Rhinebeck. The place definitely (email hidden)d in feel. You almost feel like the favorite uncle stopping over for a few days. Nice TV for watching a movie after cooking a big meal.

  • We had a wonderful experience. The house is very, very nice; and the location in the small town of Hurley allows for great exploration of the Mid-Hudson area. I would especially recommend for families with a small child - like us - since Sarah & Andras' lovely house is so well equipped for dealing with a toddler. We give the highest rating for a wonderful stay.

  • I wish we could have stayed longer at this really cute house in a really cute town. The kitchen is amazing, we used a few herbs from the gar dent at the side of the house, and the entire house is really cozy and perfectly appointed. The piano is also a plus. Really convenient to Kingston, Woodstock, etc. It's our first Airbnb experience and we hope to come back someday. Thanks Sarah and Andras!

  • We had an absolutely wonderful time at Sarah and Andras's lovely house! Their house is beautiful, comfortable and filled with so much personality, it was perfect for us. The kitchen is well stocked and gorgeous and the old barn in the backyard was a great place for our wedding photos. We were so pleased with how well everything turned out. Sarah is sweet and was incredibly quick to respond to any questions I had. This was a great experience all around; it couldn't have gone better.

  • We had a lovely stay at Sarah & Andras´ cozy home in July 2012. We spent most of our time in the kitchen and the garden, cooking, drinking wine, playing board games - a great escape from the city. We also did a day trip to the Catskills which are just a short drive away. All in all, highly recommended!

  • Our stay at Sarah + Andras' wonderful cottage in Hurley was just what we had hoped for! It was a great escape from the city, with a beautiful kitchen and idyllic backyard for the little one to play. He bathed outdoors and munched on fresh raspberries from the garden. The house itself was super clean and prepared for our stay. We'd def recommend it!

  • We had a perfect weekend away at Sarah and Andras's place. Kitchen was very well stocked including flour, butter and oil, so we had the beginning of our pancake breakfast! The fireplace was great, and nice bathtub upstairs. These are great luxuries that we don't have in NYC. Hurley is a very charming old town, and we had fun just walking on main st, seeing these houses from the late 1700's. The only problem with our weekend was that it was only 2 nights long.

A NYC couple who splits time between city living and country bliss. We'd love to share our humble homes while we're away so that you can explore the city we love {NYC baby!}, the alluring Hudson Valley, just 1 1/2 hours north. And don't miss our little gem in the Hungarian countryside, a place like no other. We love books, music, hiking, cycling, locally grown foods, stinky cheese, chocolate cake, good beer and a comfortable bed. Oh, and feather pillows.
