In the heart of the historic center, a stone's throw from the market area, near the Venezia Nuova district, a comfortable mini-apartment, on the third floor of a completely renovated late seventeenth-century building: a baroque jewel, with a newly renovated bathroom and a bedroom equipped with a new double bed
The piers of the maritime station can be reached in a quarter of an hour on foot and in much less by bus, from the nearby Via Grande, from where the vehicles for the railway station also depart.

The apartment has brand new air conditioning installed in July 2023.

As per the municipal arrangement, the tourist tax will be required at each check-in:

For the low season period (October-March) the payment of €1.00 per person per night is required, for a maximum of four nights.

The house is all for those who rent it: it is accessed by an andito (protected by an armored door) where the window opens to the cloakhouse overlooking the windows of the Church of the Madonna.

We are all vaccinated PFIZER; upon each new arrival the rooms are disinfected with BIMAR ionizer for no less than 24 hours.

Other things to note
The apartment has brand new air conditioning that makes summer evenings less muggy. The kitchen is complete with pots and pans, as well as a small supply of oil, salt, vinegar, coffee, sugar, and spices. The oven is disconnected for safety reasons. Under the sink, there is a complete set of cleaning and sanitizing products. The password for the Wi-Fi connection is located behind the modem, and can be accessed via QR code.

For any stays longer than 29 nights, we need the guests’ Italian tax codes, as we are required to register the rental agreement.

Neighborhood highlights

We are in the center, pedestrianized area. Leaving the gate on the left you reach Via della Madonna, where three monumental churches open. On the ends of the street on one side, the picturesque area of the markets, on the other hand, the neighborhood of Venezia Nuova, where the sea water goes into the village thanks to the network of canals, which we from Livorno call "the Fossi". You can see it from the iron grids of Voltone (P.della Repubblica) a few meters away, as the poet Giorgio Caproni writes.
