The listing description is accurate and the instructions on how to get in was very clear as well. What I like about this host is that they're very responsive (multiple responses / day), which make our last minute booking possible.
I have to be honest, the neighborhood at night is a little scary but their home stood out (in a good way) comparing to others surrounding. Finally, I guess there's no official "checking-in/out" with Airbnb, which was a little confusing but it's definitely ok.
It is pretty difficult for me to evaluate my stay as I arrived at 10:30 pm and left at 7 am. So I basically arrived, brushed my teeth, and went to bed. Thus, I can't really comment on this one. The room was as expected and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom could have been cleaner, but it was ok.
Both Bunmi and Drew were out during my one-night stay, but Bunmi's sister was there to welcome me. It was easy to let myself in and out of the house. The facilities were fine, although the room could have had some more amenities, such as a mirror, but for a one night stay this wasn't a problem. The bed was comfortable - that's the main thing! The neighbourhood: whilst not the most affluent in Chicago there were supermarkets and places to eat a short walk away, and public transport was average, a few busses and a 15 min walk to rail links. There was coffee and bagels, juice and cheese left for me - which was very welcome!
As I arrived very late and a bit dark, I am a bit difficult to find the house. The house is really nice and as described. Really comfy and nice neighbourhood. I don't have change to meet with Bunmi & Drew but my check-in and stay really smooth. The house a bit far from downtown..Really recommended if you want quiet stay
i have not had chance to see the host but the staying there was nice quite experience and colorful neighborhood was so typical Chicago which is i liked a lot .

About the Host, Bunmi & Drew
We're global travelers who love interacting with interesting people from all over the world. Travel is our passion, having savored the rich aroma of stew in Ilorin, Nigeria. Taken in the sunset with St. Lucia's Piton Mountains in the background. Climbed the steps of a Mayan Temple in Central America. Feasted on freshly caught lobster along Maine's southern coast. These are only a few of the amazing places we've enjoyed together.
We also take delight in great music and experiencing cuisines from around the world, in addition to hosting. Of course, providing a unique guest experience takes a lot of work. For this reason, we have the help of Airbnb's Guestflip service which makes hosting fun and easy. With Guestflip, we believe it's possible that everyone can be a host.
By the way, we highly recommend downloading Acehopper, Airbnb's "front desk concierge", to explore the area. Available for iPhone, iPad and Android devices, Acehopper has tickets, guides and tips on must-sees.
While our exciting careers keep us highly engaged and quite busy, we always find time to enjoy life and share experiences with the amazing people who choose to stay with us when we're at home.
Thus far, we've had the privilege of hosting guests from Afghanistan, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Philippines, Russia, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and from all over the United States.
