As I arrived very late and a bit dark, I am a bit difficult to find the house. The house is really nice and as described. Really comfy and nice neighbourhood. I don't have change to meet with Bunmi & Drew but my check-in and stay really smooth. The house a bit far from downtown..Really recommended if you want quiet stay
i have not had chance to see the host but the staying there was nice quite experience and colorful neighborhood was so typical Chicago which is i liked a lot .
I had an ok stay. The place is a little sterile. It's also out of the way. Lots of cleaning solutions in the air and personally I could have done with more homeyness less starkness. But some folks might like that. Bedding and towels, etc were bare bones. Best to bring a extra blanket in the winter. So not a bad place just could use some more thought about guest comfort.
I'm very appreciate for warm welcoming. It is easy to enter downtown. very clean & comfortable house.
best thing is we can share our interest between guest and host.
especially helpful for a guests who bring a car.
I want to be there again when I visit again. host is very passionate to everything.
This was my first opportunity using Airbnb and Bunmi & Drew made it a pleasant and easy experience for me.
Directions to the location were very clear and easy to navigate for someone unfamiliar with Chicago.
The home and the specific room I reserved were tidy and clean, and the space was quiet and comfortable -- even over St. Paddy's day weekend when Chicago was partying!
The Host was great. Tope is the actual person on site who you deal with. She is a 23 yr old and is living there too. She has people over sometimes and is a great cook. Parking is free but be mindful to lock your car. Bus stops are close and go into the city with a short 20min ride. I would advise getting a post box at the nearby UPS if you are dependent on mail. If your are not security minded you should not be alone here and female. This is a changing neighborhood with a mixed influence. Ask Drew about good places to go. Tope has limited information. Currently, there is intermittent internet service at the moment. It will not support browsing or video streaming with more than one user. There is an Xfinity network where you can purchase a log in. It works much better. Bring your favorite Kurig coffee's. There's a machine with basic coffee. Little to no flavored so bring your own. Always feel free to contact Bunmi and Drew with concerns...they will make the time for you.
Awesome stay...I've been working double shifts and appreciate the tub. Would love to get more coffee in the house. The machine is great. Thanks for your hospitality.

We're global travelers who love interacting with interesting people from all over the world. Travel is our passion, having savored the rich aroma of stew in Ilorin, Nigeria. Taken in the sunset with St. Lucia's Piton Mountains in the background. Climbed the steps of a Mayan Temple in Central America. Feasted on freshly caught lobster along Maine's southern coast. These are only a few of the amazing places we've enjoyed together.
We also take delight in great music and experiencing cuisines from around the world, in addition to hosting. Of course, providing a unique guest experience takes a lot of work. For this reason, we have the help of Airbnb's Guestflip service which makes hosting fun and easy. With Guestflip, we believe it's possible that everyone can be a host.
By the way, we highly recommend downloading Acehopper, Airbnb's "front desk concierge", to explore the area. Available for iPhone, iPad and Android devices, Acehopper has tickets, guides and tips on must-sees.
While our exciting careers keep us highly engaged and quite busy, we always find time to enjoy life and share experiences with the amazing people who choose to stay with us when we're at home.
