Rebecca took care of me in place of Rocca, She was a fantastic host and would recommend this place for anyone who wants to be close to Hollywood.
Great host! I really recommend her... Very cool place too. Thanks!
Rebecca - Rocca's proxy in LA - could not have been more welcoming. The previous visitors in Rocca's apartment had been smokers, and Rebecca insisted that she put me up in another apartment in the neighborhood to make sure I was comfortable. The new place was great, and Rebecca's thoughtfulness made all the difference.
At the same time, apparently Rocca wanted to have me stay in the smoke-filled apartment. So not sure how to rate the experience, since it all turned out well, but only because Rebecca ignored the host's direction.
Anita was open and accommodating to the change of stay. The change was necessary in order to fulfill the host's own personal duty to satisfy her guests during their stay. The previous guest did ignore the house rules of no smoking, and left the space in a condition that was not suitable for immediate occupancy. In fairness to the host, she was not completely aware of how severe the tobacco odor had permeated the studio, and thought there was a simple fix. Immediately upon being notified, she contacted airbnb for advice, while I, Rebecca, immediately sought other accommodations for Anita during this time. During this 20 or so minute time frame, Anita was given new accommodations, and the host and guest were pleased with the outcome. The host, with more information, would have suggested an immediate change of stay in order to fulfill her personal duty of guest satisfaction. In the end, everyone's willingness to satisfy and be satisfied, gave us great results. Thank you Anita for letting us host you during your visit to Los Angeles.
Très bien situé a 2 minutes a pied de holiwood boulevard.. l'accueil fut très bien et l'hôte nous a bien renseigné!! parcontre la résidence et l' appartement un peu vieillot mais suffisant pour le peu de temps que l'on y reste...
Nice place for a good price.
Fantastic place! Rocca and her team were amazing and immediately responsive to all concerns. The place was much quieter than I expected!
This was my first time using airbnb, and I wasn't exactly thrilled with the results. Perhaps if I was traveling with a friend and for pleasure it would have been a bit better, but I was looking for a safe comfortable place with parking.
The building is an old building and although the place has been fixed up there were a few incidences with little cockroach visitors. The blinds on one window had been pulled down, so the first night the city light kept me up. To their credit, the blinds were fixed when I came back the second night. There was a huge hassle with parking (which btw is offsite, behind the 7-11) since the pass had been taken by the previous person. Luckily my business in town allowed for me to use the meters across the street because I left at 8am and was (email hidden), but for other travelers this could pose a problem. And the nights I came home a little early, I had to pay. But to be honest, I don't think I would have felt comfortable walking alone at night from the parking site by myself.
Communication was average; Rebecca, the liason, was very sweet. On the plus side the comforter was very warm and fluffy.
Host is very nice but my stay experience was average.
Nice clean space. Location is convenient with lots of eating and drinking options in walking distance.
Host was very responsive and helpful.
Guarded, free parking spot.
Light sleepers should note that the bedroom window overlooks an after-hours club: throbbing beats, quiet but noticeable, from 11pm until 11am the next day. Didn't interrupt my sleep but definitely the first thing I noticed when I layed down in bed.
Rocca's apartment is wonderful once you're inside. It's an older building, and I remember thinking "oh man, the studio isn't going to be nice" as I climbed the stairs to her place. But once I opened the door, I was so pleasantly surprised. Rocca has done a fantastic job of transforming a simple studio into a very cool, comfortable, clean, and easy place to stay. I loved the painted walls, and the artwork/design. I went to see Book of Mormon at the Pantages theater, and it was LITERALLY 3 blocks, if not less. Thank you Rocca and Rebecca for everything. I definitely plan to book your place in the future.
