Description

The space

The apartment is located on the top of Douro River (near Arrábida Bridge) with stunning views (front view) to the river and to the Oporto city (Ponte D. Luiz I, Serra do Pilar, Palacio de Cristal, etc…).
The apartment is a modern duplex, which can accommodate 6 people. It has two rooms and a complete bathroom on the 2nd floor and a living room, kitchen and a service wc on the 1st floor. The decoration includes modern furniture and is equipped with cable TV, oven, refrigerator, dishes, bed sheet, shower towels and so on (is ready to live in!).

Guest access

The guests can use the entire apartment.
The apartment is on the 9th floor (last floor) and there are two elevators.
There is a private and close parking place inside the building.

Interaction with guests

I live nearby and can guide you for free, in the city if you desire (it depends on my time schedule).
If I’m available I can get you at the airport (20€ one-way for fuel and parking at the airport. Can carry 4 people).
Also can lend you a mobile phone with a pay-per-use Portuguese mobile number.

The neighborhood

The location is front of the Arrábida mall and supermarket, that is perfect for shops, meals, cinema, transports (taxi and bus), hospital (hope You never need it) and is a 25 minutes’ walk to the Oporto wine cellars and Ponte D. Luiz I. You also can go to the beach (50 minutes’ walk) to enjoy our lovely weather.
The building has private security during the night.

Getting around

In less than a minute walk you can get a taxi or a bus.

- This apartment is a reputable, legally registered and recognized rental, fully registered at Turismo de Portugal (660/AL) and supervised by the local authorities, Câmara Municipal do Porto and ASAE. This accreditation can be checked any time at Turismo de Portugal database.

Since 2015 Portugal has more strictly enforced a long-standing law requiring anyone providing paidholiday accommodation to record the entry, exit, and identification details of all non-Portuguese nationals who use that accommodation. This law has been brought into force in Portugal and most other EU countries at some point since the gradual implementation of the 1990 Schengen Agreement.

- Pets are not allowed.

- late check in (22p.m. to 9am) has an extra fee of 10 euros.

- Parties or events are not allowed.

- The subletting of the apartment is not permitted.

- We encourage you to recycle and put the trash in the public container to avoid unpleasant smells.

- Make a conscious use of water to avoid waste. Thank you for protecting the environment.

- Turn off all the appliances, air conditioner and lights you do not need and before your check-out.

- Respect your neighbors noise is strictly forbidden after 22H (10 PM) until 8H (8 AM).

- Respect the common areas of the building.

- Smoking is not permitted. The tobacco smoke adds smells that are difficult to eliminate from the apartment.

- We have a boiler as heating system. If you take long showers we recommend you take them at different hours so it can reheat.

- If you notice any problems in the apartment let us know immediately.

- Please take care of the apartment as if it was your own.

- Before check-out, please wash your dishes.

Thank you Miguel for accommodation. The flat is spacious, beautiful and comfortable. The view from windows is breathtaking! I really recommend this place for everyone. Miguel and his wife are nice and helpful. He picked us from the airport at night so we could feel safety. I will recommend my friends your apartment :)

Everything was great, Miguel is a great host, collected us from the airport for a very reasonable fare, showed us a map and recommended places to visit, restaurants, etc. The apartment was clean, very close to a shopping centre with all the amenities and a taxi rank. Miguel left with us a mobile phone with a Portuguese number, in case we needed to make local calls. I would definitely go back there. Highly reccomended.

It was a real pleasure to spend time in Porto and Vila Nova da Gaia. Miguel is a nice and helpful person, he picked up us from the airport and told about couple great places in the city. Apartment was just like in photos or even better! Clean, spacious, comfortable and with amazing view of Porto. We fell in love with this city and i'm sure we will return. Obrigado Miguel! Naprawdę szczerze polecam spanie u Miguela. Świetne mieszkanie, cudowny widok z okna, Miguel bardzo pomocny i troskliwy. Wszystko na plus, "3 razy TAK!" Polecam tego Allegrowicza ;)

My husband, 10 month old son, and I had a lovely stay at Miguels flat! The apartment is exactly as advertised- clean, comfortable, and with stunning views. Miguel was also an excellent host! He came to meet us for check-in at our very late arrival time, he followed up with us via text after the first night to see if we needed anything, and he provided a crib and highchair for our son. Communication was easy and Miguel is very friendly. We would absolutely stay at Miguels flat again! :)
