We had a great room with a huge double bed. The location is within easy walking distance of ferries, restaurants near the harbour and the main street. Bill was really helpful and recommended some great beaches.

Good location, upstairs area is clean and has everything you need. Bill was very responsive and helpful. We were unable to meet, but he left his keys for us and made sure we had direction how to get into the house.

Bill is very friendly and welcoming and is a terrific source of information about the area. He allowed us to use his bikes when we went to Nantucket, which was great: saved us a lot of money and they worked well. I had not stayed in a room in a shared house before, so I expected a lock on the room door, but there is not one. Perhaps this is normal for a room in a shared house. There were other people in the house when we were there, so we had to share the bathroom. It got kind of busy in the mornings. Linens were very clean and smelled good. Bed I in master) was very comfortable. House could use some tidying and some paint work. There is a cat living with Bill, so be prepared for that. It is a wonderful location: walk to the ferry to the islands, walk to town for breakfast, ice cream and shopping .

Bill User Profile

Active, healthy, self-employed chiropractor and musician. Originally from Cape Cod, lived for several years in San Francisco before returning to the Cape in 2003. Some of my interests include science, jazz and cycling. I love to cook, influenced by my mother's cooking. Musically influenced by both my mother (pianist) and father (drummer), I play saxophone, flute and piano.

As a host, I can offer you an in-depth understanding of the local history, natural history and businesses; the best places to go and the best way to get anywhere on the Cape or the Islands.
